I was taking his post to mean that there aren't any players to watch. I was just being silly. California is not getting to my head, but apparently my jokes are still esoteric and lame.  :D :P  ;)

Alright, you're forgiven for being esoteric and lame (your jokes that is, not you).   ;)  Notice hope1 says there's "not much" to watch -- there is basketball to be enjoyed, if you know where to look.  And I'm delighted to report that in such a venue, Hope beat Calvin by a nice margin...   8)

Hope's schedule is finally out - and it's a bit disappointing - no games before the Thanksgiving weekend at Van Andel - yikes!

And the news is out - new Hope JV coach and Varsity assitant - Eric Elliot.  Chad Carlson is off to Penn State to get his doctorate degree.

Also most curious is the fact that they only have 10 games before the conference slate of 14...last year they had 11...where did the extra game go? I don't think the NCAA decreased the max number allowed.

Are they going to play an-as-yet-unannounced game vs. a D-1 program (ala Albion/U of Det)? Is Glenn leaving an option open for a fill-in?

I suppose that's a possibility (D1), although I doubt it.  If you look on the posting up area for coaches seeking games, Hope has had one posted since March.  My bet is that they have been unable to schedule that 25th game.  Here's HOPEing they have something in the works - DIII

UNBELIEVABLE...... He's transferring to another college and he's not going to Hope!!!  (Just thought I would start that conversation before others do!! :))
