The word on the NCAC board is that UW LaCrosse will be at the Wooster Tournament.  Does anyone know who the fourth team will be? ( I assume it is a four team tourney)
It is a four-team tourney, but I have no idea who the fourth team is either.

KVS stepping down from AD job to focus on MBB coaching and teaching.  Another positive development for the Knight cagers, IMHO.  I think he's done a fine job as AD, but it can't hurt the hoops team to have more of his attention.

I saw this today and it made me laugh, and thought I'd pass it on.

How many college students does it take to screw in a light bulb?

- At Calvin it takes 0, they dont screw.
- At Hope it takes 4, one to change the light bulb and 3 to figure out how it will help them meet their future husband.

:D Sounds like Wheaton.  ;D
Wait, dunks are only worth two points?!?!!!? Why does anyone do them? - diehardfan

Any ideas on who the next AD might be?

Kind of completely opposite of what most coaches/AD's do, most step down from coaching to concentrate on the AD job.

carefull Bob.... I'd like to go one summer without the words Bald, Wally and Hope in one sentence. ;)

I actually think I played golf with Mr. Timmer when he was at Calvin.  One of the Timmer's anyway.

Hiring a Timmer to be AD at Calvin is tantamount to a promotion within.

According to Hugh Howard, tCoW SID, the fourth team in the Wooster Tourney is Ohio Northern.

That tourney is stacked.  I am interested to see how they will pair them up.

Wooster was top five all last season, Calvin won the MIAA, and Lacrosse and Northern were in and out of the top 25 all season. Ridiculous, but very exciting!

At the risk of beating a dead horse... those two Wisconsin teams are not "in-region" for Calvin, correct? That could have BIG implications for next seasons tourney (either positive or negative), especially since Wooster already is an IR game (if I remember correctly).

Pat Coleman

UW-La Crosse is not a regional game for Calvin.

Not sure what other team you're referring to as the second one. Ohio Northern is in Ohio and is a regional game.

It will be interesting to see who gets Lax in the first round of the Mose Hole.  I think it would be a bit amusing if Calvin ended up drawing Lax in the 1st round as much as they struggle to schedule in-region non-conference opponents.  Just kidding.  ;)  It would actually be pretty cruel to put Calvin up against Lax for that very purpose.  Which is why I have a feeling Wooster will be playing Calvin in one of the 1st round match-ups.  Wooster played Bald Wally (sorry Sac  ;)) in the 1st round of this tournament last year and it was thought they did it to guarantee the quality in-region points.  My guess would be that Wooster would want to guarantee at least one in-region game with the possibility of two going by the precedent they set in last year's Mose Hole.  And it would only be fair to Calvin, making the long trek from GR, to give them the chance at playing possibly 2 in-region games as well.  That is why I have a feeling Wooster and Calvin will be squaring off in round one of the Mose Hole.
