sac,

Your timing is impeccable, since we've just been toying with 'Bad Karma'/'No Karma'/etc.!  I see he is now in positive territory, but has yet to re-change his name.

Whoever is messing with sac's karma, CUT IT OUT!  He has never been other than intelligent in his posts and respectful of other posters, and does not deserve this s***!

I'll start you back towards the realm you belong (even though this probably means I'll take the collateral damge!)  I went from +12 to -19 in a few weeks last spring (while hardly posting) - sometimes trolls just got to get their jollies! ;D

Dear D3hoops.com posters

Well it took alot of hardwork, but I finally did it.  I got that blowhard SAC's karma down to zero.  It was pretty hard to log on every day for the entire summer but I managed.  The hardest days were those days when his posts were buried deep within the MIAA forum.  Fortunately he poked his head out a few times like a turtle, and I took advantage and knocked his karma down.  Doesn't even matter what he said.

Some people probably think its pretty sad, but I believe its my mission in life to keep those Hope nutjobs down.  Giving them negative karma is a perfect way to do it because they obviously quit postomg when I give them negative karma.

Its even more fun to just knock everyone's karma down who doesn't think Calvin is totatlly awesome.  Because thats what they are awesome.

Gosh it makes me feel so powerful, like I control the world.  I'm thinking about writing a book report on the whole experience for my 6th grade class.  Everyone will be pretty proud of me at the new Vandestreek Elementary School that opened this year.  Its awesome.  Nobody wonders what KVSWD because we all know.  He'd give negative karma for anyone who doesn't think Calvin is awesome.  Because thats what they are, awesome.

Well mom says I have to go, but I'll be back to knock some more karma down.

Signed,

Annonymous poster hiding behind my handle and never posting so no one can guess who I am.

Seriously, can the karma wars stop.
Seriously Scott, did someone send you that? When you posted yesterday, the second I saw your karma, I thought.... what the? ??? Yeah, it's ridiculous, but the plus is no one can take away your much more important HOFer title ;D

All I can say is that I did my part to bring you back up from negative when I saw it... Call me a Karma Super Hero or what ever, but all I'm saying...

Bad Karma Again Doh,

I put you up to +1 earlier this evening, but it seems the trolls are out in full force!

I can't do anything again for 18 hours.

One of the "troll's" mother must have danced just off the beltline... my guess at least.

I just spent the last 20 minutes going back all the way to May handing out Karma to everyone not above 0. Most of the people I don't care for, but I think the Karma thing is stupid. The only person I gave negative Karma to is Pat.... Just because he has over 200... and he ain't that cool!   ;)

I am not a troll. :P :D

Seriously, two lewd comments in one day... not okay. I had to smite you. And because I had given you karma in the last 18 hrs, it reversed the k+ and gave you a negative one on top of that. That's just how the system works. And not that you care, but if you say anything else inappropriate, I'll do it again. Muhaha... :P

As much as I'm sorta teasing, I'm also very definitely NOT okay with D3hoops.com being trashy, even if the rest of society is.  As a female most of the jokes that are made here are extremely objectifying and well, crass. I don't have to deal with that just to talk about Wheaton basketball. The day the sexual jokes become rampent on this site is the day I forget this site exists, forever.

So you didn't like the lewd/objectifying picture of the clam diggers? And my preference of women over men in ridiculously tight fitting pants?? Or was it the 4 feet on the floor??? Or dancing just off Beltline drive????

Sorry April! Clam digger photo was a prop, to follow another much lewder (good word) comment. I like women... married to one. 4 feet... old, bad joke for all of us who have attended the conservative schools (Hope, Calvin, Wheaton). And dancing at a club in GR... maybe below the belt for some relative of a co-ed who made money in school there, but as a non-patron... hardly objectifying... I personally think it is horrible.

So... I truly do apologize if I offended you, any other woman, or any other human for that matter, who frequents our site...

From here on out I'll stick to Karmaing up the lowly...

Wait, I thought the goal was to get as much negative karma as possible?

It's not so much you as a great combination of many things... stalkers, guys hitting on me, guys not taking anything I had to seriously because it came from a female. Guys pretending to take what I had to seriously but being patronizing. The general comments about women and their bodies on various boards is just the tip of the iceberg. This site is a very difficult place to be female and almost five years later, its still just as hard. And as much as I value some live long friends I've made here, it's become not worth it anymore. Thanks for the apology though. As a last act I'll give you back your karma.  :P

Sorry, April, didn't know the 'trolls' were you! :-[

While I agree with you, you probably also have to realize that a sports board is going to have a certain amount of 'locker-room' humor.  I agree with your goal of keeping it PG; realistically it is going to occasionally go PG-13 or even R - I'll rely on Pat to keep it from X! :o

April,

While I think it is "too bad" that you might have to do this, most of the annonimoty on this site keeps the BS down (like getting hit on). I know there are several Hope posters who are women, that have never made it very clear they are women. I think it stinks that they have to do it, but they do.  And you know... that the people who know you, respect you and the things you have to say (even if you are a feminist  ;) ).

And thank you for the K...  Back at ya...
