Looking at all the movement in this weeks top 25 poll it is hard to have any confidence in the accuracy.  Better to play a few more games to let things shake out abit.
Isn't it interesting that when a certain school or it's gym become the topic it is "bashing", but not when anyone else is the target. :D  If you can't take it you might want to consider dishing it out a bit less. :D ;D >:(

Pot kettle   :) :D ;D

Point taken.
But the question seemingly remains: Point received? ;) :D ;D
Why does the question remain?  Of course I can only speak for myself, but I enjoy all of it, as long as it doesn't get personal.

Man, somebody is a little quick on that negative karma handout there. What's the deal, is nobody allowed to have any fun on here anymore?

Very disappointing to watch 2 normally excellent defenses get caught out of position so many different times the last 2 Saturdays.  Also, being on the short end in both rivalry games is hard to take.  At least with Hope there will be at least 2 possibly 3 rematches.

Bosko Djurickovic, Carthage coach, did drive to Calvin Friday night to personally scout Hope. I didn't see him after halftime of the Calvin game.

This may have already been mentioned (I apologize in advance if that is the case), I haven't been on in a long time.  But Calvin gets spanked by 22 on their home floor and only drops 2 spots in the polls?

What?  You hadn't heard?  Fun was eliminated weeks ago.   ;)    Don't take your karma too seriously -- as of late it can plummet in a heartbeat (especially when insulting/alluding to an insult of a rival team).  Wear it as a badge of honor!   :D

Though seeing a non-Division III team on Hope's schedule would hardly have raised any alarms.
Does this mean we can officially begin our annual Hope schedule bashing?  Sweet.

Next week we can bash the Holland Civic Center.

This post was only meant to point out how old and tired I think this subject has become.  In my own head I thought it was clever and funny.  Keep in mind I've been on here since the beginning, its an old tired subject.  Guess maybe I should use more of these ;) :) :D ;D

Civic----thanks for the headsup, you may have prevented my own personal "April moment" of showing up to an empthy gym.

On the subject of empty gyms............I swear last night I saw on MIAA.org that Trinity Christian played at Calvin tonight, today its gone.  Is this game takeing place, not takeing place or did it ever really exist.

I posted somewhere else its clear Hope was rewarded bigtime for beating Calvin at Calvin......maybe to much.  Although I think it was also clear to everyone there that Calvin is not 22 points worse  than Hope.

If Calvin struggles this weekend expect a big drop, if not they're probably right where they should be.  I personally still think Calvin is loaded and will not have much trouble with anyone but the team in Orange this year.  Could be a very good weekend in Kenosha.

Well . . . , just read your own post. I think you answered the question. :(

I was just looking at some of these local, non MIAA teams that have been playing against teams in our league.  Either they are improving vastly or we (as a league) are declining, or perhaps a bit of both.

Rochester beats Ablion by 13 and Adrian by 11.

Madonna beats Olivet by 4 at Olivet after Olivet  lost by 3 to Bald-Wally in Ohio. (Madonna also beat Rochester)

Alma beats Grace Bible by 2 in overtime.

FDF-----I would argue pretty strongly the league is not very good this year.   Its still early but there have been some really bad results thus far.

you have to give it until january to truly see what the new talent has to offer

mjf, I think that smearing a kid publically is pretty rude as you said youself, not fun! What you say may in fact be true, but as a board rule, I think you can keep the exact details of certain situations to yourself. There's plenty of stuff that has gone on at local school such as Hope, C'Stone, and even AQ that some of as know about, but choose to keep a little tack when talking about the matters in a public form as this. I made a simple comment about GVS complaining about calls and my karma dropped, but I could have said much worse. I think what you post says alot about yourself and you showed your true colors. Congrats!
