I see they managed to slip the "Master Plan" in there again. ;D

Ironically, sac, the master plan called for the school to go for Heinz money and call the project the Calvin Ketchup Complex.  ;D

I guess you Calvin people are forever trying to "Ketchup" with Hope... :P ::) ;D

Let's put it this way, David:
We relish the rivalry. ::)

I'll admit I tried to come up with several responses using Mustard, but they were all rather disgusting   ;)

You have to be very careful with condiments, FDF!
You're showing admirable restraint. ;D

Hey now!  Remember what your mother taught you -- ALWAYS use a condiment! 8)  (Okay, so I don't have the admirable restraint that FDF has...) ;D

Now if you had my mom you would have been instructed that when it comes to condiments, abstinence is the best policy (that was just a couple of years before Nancy Reagan's "just say no" campaign). ;) ::)

condiments to all the posters about karma...   :D :-*

Incidentally, I can't find the picture on the hope.edu site anymore... did they take it down??!?!?! ???  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

*whew*

You had me worried there for a minute!  ;D

Yay!  ;D

So just RSVPed to "The Game" at a satellite site out here in SoCal... for now I RSVPed to both parties, despites Sac's insistence that I RSVP to Hope. :P I guess the real question is, which fans do I actually sit with?  ??? On the one hand, I am still bitter about that last second tip in (speaking of buzzer beaters) of Calvin @ Wheaton in the first round of the playoffs a few years back, on the other hand, I applied to Calvin and not Hope, on the other Hand, my team colors are Orange and Blue, on the other hand we have an alum from Calvin, on the other hand I don't want Scott to eat me... Opinions?

Incidentally, if any of the posters or lurkers of this board live in SoCal, I'd love to know so I can meet you if you are coming to the same game as me!

Or you could have said, "I tried to come up with a witty retort, but my responses just didn't cut the MUSTARD."

All this condiment talk has got me thinking I'm in a real "pickle:"  should I actually stay home and do my homework tonight, or head down to Adrian and hope for a "Miracle Whip"ping of the Knights?  Ah well, you only live once, it's off to the Merillat Center...Go Bulldogs!

Do what I did. Take the homework with you as if you might get something done while awaiting the game. You won't get much accomplished but you'll feel a lot better about it. :)

My thought regarding this topic is:  Hot Dog!!! (Actually its a Big Pig, but I didn't really think that it fit as well regarding the condiment conversation!)  I bet you other boards don't have the fun that we do!!!

Here is what "The Computer" is telling me about tonight's games.

Adrian     +8.5
Calvin      -8.5

Hope         -37
Albion       +37

Alma         -5
Kalamazoo +5

Tri-State  -2.5
Olivet      +2.5

Hopefully we will see some good games tonight.  I do think that Albion will make it a closer game than "The Computer" predicts.

I got it from another source that Desmond Young played at EMU before SVSU.

Which computer is telling you this?

Here's what Massey says (taking home court advantage into account):

Hope over Albion by 27  (86 to 59)
Calvin over Adrian by 4 (75 to 71)
Kalamazoo over Alma by 4 (74 to 69)
Tri-State over Olivet by 10 (75 to 65)

I think Adrian has been improving, so the Calvin-Adrian game could be a real battle.
