I used to love the long waits outside the Civic Center before the Calvin games.  It was always neat to see the line stretch all the way around the building.

My favorite though was waiting outside the Dow Center in 98 for 2 hours in one of Holland's famous lake effect events for the Allegheny game.

Leaving just an hour and a half before the game. Must be nice to have reserved seats. ;)

Thats correct, this will be my first Hope/Calvin game since the VanAndel event in 97 without at least a TV hookup.

For that one I was in Las Vegas with no idea who won for about 5 hours afterwards, went to a George Carlin show that night.

Just try getting a score from a sportsbook for a D3 game. ::)

Hope women are in a tight game against Olivet. Hopefully, not a sign of things to come.

I do not envy those waiting outside the dick tonight.  Granted I would love to be there for the game, but WGVU will have to do.  I will be alone at the house so I can yell at the refs all I want without annoying anyone.  Can't wait to see the Berends, Hendricks, Stuit comercials again.  Just wish they would bring back the retro lightning comercial!  Vintage '87

I don't recall the waiting outside the Civic Center as much as waiting at the Dow Center to get tickets for the game.  Was nice sitting with the now ex-girlfriend in the cold morning air!  Ah priceless

Ya know it just occured to me I could have tried to get a ticket at Olivet for the women's game tonight and snuck into DeVos that way.

Do you think they will try to clear out the Dick between games? I figured they would do the same tickets for both games.

Hope women just beat Olivet 78-70. A closer game than I would have expected but they are done at 7:13 so the Hope-Calvin game should start right on time at 8PM. Let the nervousness begin. :-X

Oh no they won't clear the gym.

Listening to the end of the ladies game, connection keeps stuttering...........I'm not happy right now. >:(

I'm getting the live scoreboard about 20 seconds ahead of the broadcast though so I'm well informed before anything happens.

Yea, it does look like Calvin is hosting this somehow. Way to go Calvin (I hope never to say those words again!!!)
