Big time credit to Hope for a great comeback, big time credit to Calvin for weathering the storm on the road.
19.1 sec to go, Calvin up 5

This has been fun.  I do like the enthusiasm of the color guy.

It is also nice of Calvin to bring Hope back to the pack in the Great Lakes.

Well that was a disappointing outcome. A few thoughts:

1) Amazing how hot Calvin started from the floor. That said it seemed to me that Hope lacked energy in the first half. Made most evident by the lack of rebounds. Can't come out like that and win.

2) Very disappointing to get the first loss at the Dick, especially to Calvin.

3) Even though Hope lost I think that Hope may have gained a lot from this game. They hadn't been challenged much all year and today Calvin came at them. Very impressed by the comeback over the last 12 minutes of the game even though the game ended in defeat. I think it was a good measure for Hope to come back that way.

4) Great game by Reimink in every respect. A good game by DVS. Cramer and VanderHeide need to do more though for Hope to beat the best teams out there. Cramer was particularly weak tonight both shooting and with some really silly turnovers.
Tribes of primitve hunters, with rhinestone codpieces rampant, should build pyramids of Chevy engines covered in butterscotch syrup to exalt the diastolic, ineffable, scintillated and cacophonous salamander of truth which slimes and distracts from each and every orifice of your holy refrigerator.

THE HAY IS IN THE BARN!!

The Calvin women gave the Hope women their first loss at the Dick and now the men have done the same!

Congrats Calvin on the nice win.

Hope goes 0-8 from the floor the last 7 minutes after the great rally.  Once again poor execution in the last 5 minutes when it counts in another loss.

Did everything on defense they needed to, Calvin only had 3 fg's in the last 12 minutes or so.

I echo Ziggy's sentiments, kudos to Hope on a great comeback. If Cramer and Vander Heide had played their normal games it may have been a different story. Incredible performance by Reimink (at least as far as I can tell).

Also, great performance from Veltema, that guys' got some icy blood. Also very impressed with Griffin, and the Knight's defense must have been on today, but I'll wait to hear from someone who was at the game for that analysis. Thanks for getting out to a good fast start today guys, keep doing it!

Anyone else think Zoerhof got a foot stomp for fouling with 12 seconds to go :-)? I'm sure he was just hustling on D, keep up the good work Tyler.

Cramer and VanderHeide are 10-42 in the last 2 Hope games.  3-13 from 3 and 12 turnovers.

Looks like you've got your stat computer back up and running.
