I can see Sac now   -  Lansing to Holland in under 90 minutes!!
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Brad Duistermars gets call for NCAA Division III women's hoops tourney

Brad played at Holland Christian and Hope ('95).  He missed Hope's first trip to Salem as a player by one year.   :(  Nice for him that he gets to experience the Final Four from this perspective.
If there is one thing I've learned from this board it's this: There's more than one way to split a hair.

Just found a cool picture on the Hope site.  It's from one of the few truly happy Hope moments during the game against WashU.  MY guess is that it's either the Cramer dunk or the 3 that tied the game in the second half.  Anyway, look close, because it's full of posters.

I see hopefan (pay attention Scott, your missing the game), diehardfan (it may say Wheaton, but at least it's orange & blue), sac (growling his approval), myself  and civic minded (apparently if you live together long enough, you even start cheering like each other), gohope (sorry you got stuck behind us tall guys), monsoon (the one handed yeah!), DoTheDew's sister (she's as vocal as her brother) the top of dutch_man's head (love the headwear), alwayshope (with a good yell) and maybe some others

Also on the page, a picture of The Lad, in the Dew Crew, looking none too happy.

Of course, here, it appears FDF has actually joined the Dew Crew:

So some of you may be aware that one the D3 hoops guys picked Hope to win it all this year, waaaaay before the season even started (has been a running joke on hoopsville all year). Last night he picked you guys to win again next year. :D

Incidentally, there is totally a royalty that goes to D3hoops.com's orange blazer fund every time you take a picture of a HOFer... pay up x 2 Hope photographer. :D

Oh come on, you guys had more than a few happy moments.  If indeed it's just a few, that's more than what us Pointer fans had!  We were up 28-24 and it was all downhill from there! lol... :'( >:(

This means its really all over. How many days until fall practice starts up?
Tribes of primitve hunters, with rhinestone codpieces rampant, should build pyramids of Chevy engines covered in butterscotch syrup to exalt the diastolic, ineffable, scintillated and cacophonous salamander of truth which slimes and distracts from each and every orifice of your holy refrigerator.

Tommy Ammaker gone.

Double-whammy for Duke--that comes right after the Blue Devils' opening round NCAA loss to Virginia Commonwealth.

Appeared that after Wisconsin, Ohio State and Indiana it was a real dogfight in the middle of the pack.

Amaker's club still made the NIT--unfortunately that must not have been enough. :-X :-\

Not to open a can of worms, but suppose Hope and or Calvin had a down year--given the good runs both of those teams have had--anyone think that one bad year (i.e. missing the NCAA tournament post-season altogether) would be enough reason to send either one of those coaches packing?
