Just for fun I decided to see what posting-up boards are most popular.  So I compiled the list below by selecting all boards with over 100,000 views, as well as the top board in each region (if under 100,000).

Region   Board Name   Replies     Views
Mid West   CCIW Chat   10621     392778
Great Lakes   Let's talk MIAA   10861     256607
West   MIAC Conversation   7149     184045
Mid West   MWC Basketball   6910     175644
South   ODAC Conversation   5973     171968
North East   NESCAC   4033     170600
Great Lakes   NCAC   6366     161584
West   Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference   4393     156754
Mid-Atlantic   Capital Athletic Conference   2785     95666
East   Empire 8   4005     89396
Multi-Region   UAA Men's Discussion   1033     35064
Atlantic   NJAC TALK   605     19829

Pretty interesting that there have actually been more posts on this board than any other, yet there are apparently a lot more lurkers on the CCIW board, with almost 400,000 views

i love hope  sports all of them are really great to watch

fdf, a minor correction/quibble: the UAA is the only conference board on multi-region topics, so by default they have the most activity among conferences, but Top 25 Topics has more than twice as many views and nearly three times as many posts as the UAA board.

[As a Michigander, I'll post this here, even though it does raise the post lead over my CCIW!  Though as Pat noted, if you add CCIW In-game Updates, 'Lets Talk MIAA' still has a lot of chattering to go!] ;D

At the risk of creating a small debate. I think the MIAA has fewer in game updates because the vast majority of the posters on this board are all at the games ;)

It looks like the Calvin Tip-Off tourney for next season will include Ohio Northern. Calvin will open non-league play against Grace Bible.

Wow are the CCIWers sensitive. That actually cost me karma!!! ???

Ohio Northern is a solid team for the Calvin Tip-Off tourney and should provide an interesting championship game.

DCH, I assure you it wasn't me, in case that is what you were thinking.

The fundamental problem with karma is that one cannot know (unless someone is totally above-board about it) from whom or about what it is bestowed or taken away - your 'hit' could just as well be from someone catching up on two-week-old posts as for your latest post.  If karma is intended to reward good posts or 'civilize' obnoxious posters, this uncertainty as to what (if anything specific) is being 'applauded' or 'smited' kind of defeats the whole purpose.

Exactly. And, for the record, I didn't smite DCHN, either.

More post season awards for Stephen Cramer, as he's named to the Great Lakes Region first team by the NABC (North American Basketball Association).  This also makes him eligible for the NABC All-American teams.

I must admit to being shocked when I looked at the second team for the GL and saw Zak Silas named.

Another deserved honor for Cramer but I agree with FDF, Zak Silas on the second team does seems a bit generous. Any chance the NABC defines the GL differently? Maybe smaller?

Sager and Mr. Ypsi I figured it wasn't you or anyone that is a regular on the board as I really meant it as a gentle ribbing. I clearly can't go to many MIAA games myself since I am in DC so I wasn't serious at all. But to whoever is so offended that something like that would cost me 4 karma, Personal Message me and explain how what I said could be upsetting.  ??? Because as HopeConvert or others that know me well would understand my karma really is all that gets me and my self-esteem through the day, HAHA ;D I am just a shell of myself without it. HAHA.

Seriously, I have never lost this much before though at once and I know I have been much more controversial than this before so I am mainly confused.

No doubt Cramer deserves his place on this team.  I tend to think it is fair, and reasonable for Silas to be second team.  8 of the 11 persons named play for colleges in Ohio, and 2 from the MIAA or MI.  As I recall most of us had Zak on our all conference team.  Was Silas one of the 11 best in the region I really can't say, but considering who voted it seems reasonable a second player from the MIAA might get named.   :)  Many of us were down on the MIAA all year, but the conference still did well enough to place 2 teams in the dance.  I trust the coaches poll as much as I do many media polls.
