Pat, it may help to channel all of your anger about Defiance being let go from the MIAA in another way.  Maybe you should start to write your thoughts and feelings down in a journal, find a close friend to confide in, or see some sort of counselor.  I am sorry that we started on such a personal and emotional topic for you.  I know that this is still tough for you but Defiance has been out of the MIAA for a number of years now.  It is time for you to heal.

Pat Coleman

I said my piece already. I didn't think there was anything more to say.

At first glance, I thought you had meant to say that you had "said your peace" but considering your recent posts, there's certainly been no peace in it.

Now ve all need to immediately stop talking about this or even thinking about it.  Slappy - how dare you bring humor into it.
Sac, Ziggy, Realist, Civic, Me - how dare ve have opinions.
Pat has declared this topic done, and so ve must never mention it again.

You gotta be kidding me.

All I'm saying is that I MYSELF was done talking about it. There's no need for you guys to stop talking, I'm just telling slappy that I wasn't going to have anything more myself to say about it.

Spare me the inflammatory reference. It's so not necessary.

Not to worry, MIAA friends.  There will be good news soon...

But on the flip side, FDF has been banned.  Draw your own conclusions.

He actually has not been banned. He's been given a one-day reprieve from his ability to post. He probably has noticed, after all, he can still log in. If he were banned he would not have that privilege.

I can tolerate a lot of things but Hitler references can't be left alone.

I've already gotten one PM in support of my response and I think other posters who are not relatives of FDF would back me as well.

Well, if thats true, its an all-time low for this site and disappointing.    Wow.  I mean seriously think about the last 2 days.  Wow.

I recommend we pretend we're Calvin fans and just lost to Adrian................and disappear untill we win our next game.  :-\ ;D :D ;) :) :P :-* 8)  (no offense to our Adrian buds)

Pat Coleman

Sac, I'm sorry you disagree but I think you know full well that on any other board a Hitler reference would've been dealt with in the same way. You've been outside the board enough to know.

Actually, that's not true -- on some other boards I might've banned the poster for a longer term for that kind of language, but the MIAA gets some latitude for its high level of discourse.

I'm just baffled at how overblown this has gotten.

:::shrugs:::

Was trying to drop out of it -- you know better than most -- but a comparison of anyone to one of the most brutal dictators of history ... getting T'd up was an automatic.

Supersweet response Pat. Karma worthy actually.

It's like " The View"

Rosie (Pat) vs Elisabeth (FDF)

I may get 2 days for comparing Pat to Rosie  ;D

I didn't watch The View but I think Elisabeth Hasselbeck was less likely to invoke Hitler than Rosie O'Donnell.
