Hope fans coming to the game Friday and/or Saturday, when you arrive on campus don't go past the residence halls and knollcrest dining hall to get to the parking lot since that is blocked off, and avoid the entrance by the baseball field and soccer diamond.  The best way is to come is to go around the Chapel and Spoelhoff Center and then park to the left of the science building and engineering building.  Enter through the West doors.

Thanks for the help.  So entering off of Burton is the right choice?

Correct, that would be the easiest.  Just go left then once you get to the first stop sign.  And go around the curve past the spoelhoff center and the Fieldhouse is straight ahead you'll see with parking to the left.

If you enter from the Beltline entrance, turn left, and keep heading West until you get to where you enter from the Burton entrance.

Morningside Drive (North off Burton) is always a good option, too.

This Friday and  Saturday will mark the 13th and 14th games Hope and Calvin have played with each other in the same gym over the past year.  Either watching or playing.

By years end that number is likely to hit at least 17.  :o..........thats stopping short of meeting in the MIAA Championship or any NCAA games.

Graafschaap to Wheaton, Ill is 173.55 miles.

Bob Hope holds 58 honorary degrees, at least 8 of which come from Div III institutions.  But none from the most obvious one.  :-\

You had to dig a little farther because the reference to Calvin isn't quite as apparent as the Hope references.  Song of Solomon 2:4 may be referring to Calvin when it says "and his banner over me."  ;D  ;)

Quote from: PicknRoll on November 26, 2007, 04:26:55 PMYeah I can only imagine what practices are like this week. As we all know Coach P has quite a past relationship with Chicago. Hopefully spirited practices will bring sprited play. Is McGrath still at Chicago?

Yes. And, yes, Smokin' Joe is still the AD at Marian (IN).

Does Hope have a pep band? If it does, perhaps the pep band should play "Thanks For the Memories" at the conclusion of home victories.

Hmm; looks a lot like apostasy on this board to me. I think the local ecclesiastical body needs to get involved. ;) Do they still have church discipline in the RCA? ::)

New Top 25 is out.  Calvin moves up 2 spots to #15, Hope drops 5 spots to #16.  They both get to play Wheaton this weekend, who enters the poll this week at #22.
