 Hope just got a T on the fans behind the bench.

I've chastised the guilty parties through a text message.  Shouldn't be a problem in the 2nd half.

LTK:  The womens final for Hope a yr ago was webcast.  It is coming.  Men's final is also broadcast, but not carried widely.
Hope seems to be getting things under control.  I think they (Hope) are just very aggressive defensively.

Wow, if it really was something the fans said and the refs aren't able to tell the difference between what the fans said and the Hope bench (voices they probably have heard a lot so they should be able to recognize voices to some degree at this point in the game) then these refs sound like they may be high quality. I am glad Hope is playing aggressively but hopefully they are careful to adjust in the second half so we don't give Roanoke a chance to win the game from the line. Fortunately, Roanoke's FT shooting has been subpar so far.

It seems like realist is right and Hope's shooting was starting to warm up at the end of the half.

I recall several times the PA at the fieldhouse would advise fans to cool it or Calvin could get a T.  Usually the fans get a warning.  Not being there I think the ref thought it was someone on the bench saying a naughty word.

I seem to recall after the Wheaton game that one of our posters noted that Hope did a lot of hand/forearm checking, and that the refs in that game didn't call it, but other refs might. This team does play aggressive defense, so it wouldn't surprise me. Those two quick ones on Reimink hurt.

Still, a 7 point lead at half against a Roanoke team that beat then 5th ranked Virginia Wesleyan. Not bad.

The stats I am looking at has Hope at 2-13 from beyond the arc. Real ugly! But they did make 2.

So, according to the Sentinel, they would have had to be 4-14 from 2. OK - I got it.
