Wow!

Well I guess in the land of Disney ...................(pause to let everyone's memories register this),

only appropriate that there be :00 on the clock with a foul call.

At least this is not for a national championship!

i love hope  sports all of them are really great to watch

Elmhurst 74 Hope 71

Big win for the Bluejays, this game will look good on both teams resumes.  Lots of turnovers (48) with 23 by Hope.  Once again the offense seems to go south in the last 5 minutes.  Everything is really close in the stat book, as it should be in a game either team could have won.

I couldn't listen to the first half, and was on the phone for most of the 2nd, so is as good from me as your getting tonight.

Hope:  VanderHeide 18, Reimink 11, Wolfe 10

Elmhurst: Ruch 16, Burks 16, Saris 10..........Jimmy Saris was avg'ing 2.4 pts per game without a triple this year (MVP)

Hope got great play off the bench yesterday, today it seems they weren't as effective with only 15 points combined from Bowser, Carter, Sharples, Tanis, Kratz.

...of BOTH halves.

B.S. foul at the end of the game....
Talking about it.....
Tied game...shooting a three...
CRAP.
AT BUZZER

DVS fouling a 3 point shooter with .5 seconds to go in a tie game reminded me of this MSU graduate (magna cum laude) in green.  ;D :D

That's a cheap shot, winks notwithstanding. I'm pretty sure the kid feels bad enough. -K from me.

PS - Very nice reference Sac, I was in the building for that foul and still just now realized what you meant.

Considering non of us were there to see it,  this post is really uncalled for.

Can you imagine if I posted something like that for a Calvin player.  Really low

UW-Oshkosh 81, Tri-State 72   Wes Weir did not play again ???

Tri-State hung in with a couple teams I thought would crush them.  Last year Oshkosh beat them by 30  http://www.miaa.org/mbb/stats/0607/1228okts.htm

MIAA falls to 26-34, and is off untill Dec 28 when a host of tournaments kick off.

Hope/Elmhurst boxscore
http://www.miaa.org/mbb/stats/0708/1219ehop.htm

From Hope's 16 point lead with 7 minutes remaining in the first half, Elmhurst outscores Hope 60-41.  I think you have to credit Elmhurst for picking up the defense.

From 6:17 on and a 6 point Hope lead, they go 1-7 from the floor and outscored 17-8 including a 30 second sequence of 3 consecutive turnovers trailing by just 1 point.

Titan Q

sac, I think Tri-State is able to hang around simply due to how good Tony Benford is.  He's one of the best players I have seen so far in '07-08.

As someone who was there, I can tell you that you owe Mr. Van Solkema an apology - not to mention the rest of us who read this board.  -K from me too
