One more year and then we will be in our new facility. For fans coming to Olivet, I encourage you to take a drive at the south end of campus to see the progress on the new facility. As well, the construction company has set-up a live camera and it can be seen at; http://www.olivetcollege.edu/construction/events_center/live_image.htm.

Wow-this post on for a day and a half, and no comments about copying the DeVos or Master Plan remarks.  The board is getting kinder.

I haven't been following any games as of late.  Who is the frontrunner this year?  Any surprises?  I've heard Albion just got the services of Clarkston HS transfer Robbie Clark back for next game.  Dunno how many minutes he'll see, but glad to see that he's gonna be able to contribute soon.

Anyway... Missed you all - even you Mark Bavarro.

how do you think Calvin well do in the miaa

See the MIAA pick em board, where people picked their standings.  A lot of non-Calvin fans are starting to put them at  third.

"a lot" being defined as 5 non Calvin folk, of the 23 posters who've submitted a league standings.

Well Alma hung in with the Bluejays,.........or rather they hung in with the Bluejays bench.  Elmhursts starters played 10, 13, 12, 18, 12 minutes.

Elmhurst 79 Alma 65.......Alma did shoot the ball pretty well at 47%, Jordan Reddit with 18, Matt Brown 17

After watching the ladies on Saturday, one thing to consider for this week's games is the "Rust" factor - the amount of time off since the last game played.  The Christmas break is good, and probably a "must!" for the students, but its sure tough to build some type of momentum through the games in December and then take a "break!"

Looking at schedules here's a look at the last time they played:

Olivet - January 7 / streak - 1 game win
Alma - January 6 / streak - 9 game loss
Kalamazoo - January 5 / streak - 3 game win
Adrian - January 3 / streak - 1 game loss
Tri-State - December 30 / streak - 1 game loss
Albion - December 29 / streak - 1 game loss
Calvin - December 29 / streak - 2 game loss
Hope - December 29 / streak - 2 game win

And... I was HOPEing that my last post would put us at 900 pages, but....
