For KII:  Knights ahead 74-55  with 1:55  left.

Doug specifically mentioned that he would not say the hay is in the barn because it was in the barn as soon as they got off the bus. ???

Knights win 76-56.

And jump in to sole possession of 1st place, thanks to one of the quickest games I've ever listened to.

Let's play the conference tournament now. Knights get home court. ;)

KVS gave Katt credit for his energy and was very happy with Mantel, mentioning that John is a man on the boards and is now showing more patience on offense. KVS is understandably worried about going to Adrian next week where Calvin's record hasn't been the best in recent years.

Kzoo defeats Albion 94-82.  Pat Clancy led the hornets with 24, Kellogg with 21, McCain with 16 and Wagner with 14.  First victory against Albion since 2003.

any stats yet?

Here are the major ones:

Griffin 16
Smith 13
Veldhouse 8
Engelsma, Mantel and Katt 7 each
Veltema and Zoerhof 6

Mantel had 10 boards but Alma outrebounded the Knights 39-38. Knights shot well, 28-52, and 7-14 from the arc. Calvin only made 7 turnovers--that should make the old man happy.
