I've been wondering for a long time, maybe you can answer this:  If a Knight fan is also a Wolverine fan, how hard must it be to shout "Go Blue"?   :D  ;)
If there is one thing I've learned from this board it's this: There's more than one way to split a hair.

Welcome to the board.

However, why would anyone want to spend time at  the worst college basketball atmosphere in the country? Crisler is almost as bad as a Wednesday night game at Alma.

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

LOL!   :D  As if it had been set up.  Sorry MWKnight -- your odds were really good, but they sport orange, blue, and white uni's this year.

Anyway, welcome aboard! :)

Got this from a friend of mine.  It may interest some of you.

Because of all the construction Calvin is offering a free shuttle service for some events.   The shuttle is usually from the Prince Conference Center but will be changed for the Hope/Calvin game (some other event on campus).  I just google mapped the address.  The shuttle begins 45 minutes before tip-off, but for the Hope game it will begin at 1 p.m.  the shuttle is available to everyone.

current schedule:

Day ... Date ... Game Time
Saturday, Jan 19, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Jan 26, 3 p.m.  from the Calvin future Advancement Building, 1580 East Beltline.
Wednesday, Jan 30, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb 02, 3 p.m.
Saturday, Feb 09, 3 p.m.
Saturday, Feb 16, 3 p.m.

As a Buckeye fan and a Hope fan, those words never come out of my mouth. Rather, I say go orange.
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

Well the students do a good job at cheering loud, but everyone else is dead silent.  Was there last year for the OSU game.  The arena was the loudest I have heard it in a long time when UM was up by a few points with a minute to go, but then Amaker had another choke-job.

Tip-off starts in 30 minutes for Adrian-Calvin!

KnightSlappy

Should be a tough game for the Knights tonight.  Calvin should win but as we saw last year, Adrian has the athleticism and ability to grab a game from Calvin, especially at the Merillat.  Calvin needs to come out of the gate with intensity and energy and get after it for 40 minutes to come back to GR with a win.

Half-time in Holland...

Hope  49
Kzoo  29

I checked the scoreboard a little bit ago and while I wouldn't have been so bold to predict that halftime score, I'm not surprised to see it.

Calvin starts off strong.  Knights are up 29-14 over Adrian with about 8 minutes left in the first half.  Griffin and Veldhouse seem to finding their form back so far.
