I really don't have a great feeling about the Hornet's chances tonight at Kresge.  They are going into a very hostile environment. The Krazies have returned in full force,  and Albion is riding the high from Saturday's win.  There's also a bit of a revenge factor.

My hopes are that DJ and the boys are still basking in the glow of victory over Hope (see albion.edu/sports).  If perhaps, to quote one Joe Haklin, Albion comes in "fat and happy" then maybe the Hornets can steal away a victory from the league's 2nd best team.

I have no doubts Kellogg and McCain will be up to the challenge on the offensive end of the floor and on the boards.

The key question: How will Kalamazoo handle Albion's defensive intensity? Will they back down? Or will they fight forward?

Perhaps the last thing the Hornets should expect is a letdown from the "leagues 2nd best team".   :D  My feeling is the Brits have tasted some success, and are on a misson to win the rest of their games.  I already dread the 13th when the Knights go down to Kresge.

Sac:  Thanks for posting the photo.  The man was sweeeeeeet. :)
AH:  I think all of us who saw Mr. Brady play came away with many of the same impressions that his temamates, and fellow students had.  A person just knew you were watching a great player.

I don't think the Hornets expect that at all.  I am very sure they expect a dogfight.

I wrote that I think it's perhaps the only chance K can go in there and win.

All the CCIW games (ranging from Rock Island to Kenosha) have been postponed 'til tomorrow.  Unless the worst of the storm doesn't hit MIAA territory 'til after game time, I'd suspect there will be some postponements.

Our charter bus is waiting for the team to come out, so they can leave for Holland ... safe travels to all!

Hmmm...weird.  Although it is picking up out there.

Passed the Hope women's team headed out to Tri-State on my way back in to Holland, so evidently there a "go."

If you're driving anywhere tonight, be careful, and add lots and lots of extra time.  At 1:30, M-6 and I-196 were moving at about 40 mph.

Its definitely a bummer we have to wait to see/hear some games but safety comes first. And the board will stay quiet 24 hours longer.
