Passed the Hope women's team headed out to Tri-State on my way back in to Holland, so evidently there a "go."

According to Hope's website the women's game has been postponed as well so I guess a number of teams hit the road and decided it was best to turn around.
Tribes of primitve hunters, with rhinestone codpieces rampant, should build pyramids of Chevy engines covered in butterscotch syrup to exalt the diastolic, ineffable, scintillated and cacophonous salamander of truth which slimes and distracts from each and every orifice of your holy refrigerator.

All the CCIW games (ranging from Rock Island to Kenosha) have been postponed 'til tomorrow.  Unless the worst of the storm doesn't hit MIAA territory 'til after game time, I'd suspect there will be some postponements.

Our charter bus is waiting for the team to come out, so they can leave for Holland ... safe travels to all!

Charter bus is turning around, and the game is postponed until tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

I had hoped for your sake the decision came before you hit the road - bummer!

I never left ... I was supposed to be here at Olivet for a home women's game ... all MIAA games (men and women) have been postponed until tomorrow night.

Maybe MVH should try to match Holt then. Has he successfully dunked yet? I seem to recall a game at DeVos this year (I think Albion, maybe Adrian) where Marcus got a clean look for a layup down low but missed the shot because he apparently first went up with the intention of dunking.

Did Cramer leave any of his shoes in the locker room for his remaining teammates?

MVH cannot dunk, so don't play on seeing that anytime soon. Bowsers got to be the best dunker on the team, and Holt could probably throw down pretty hard if given the oppurtunity.

The plus side is, everyone can stay home and not miss any of Duke/North Carolina.

Bowser has tried and failed twice in games this year (...could that be why he's seeing more bench time than earlierthis season?...).  Many of us get a chuckle out of the thought of Holt's past dunk attempts.  :D  Scott Glaser threw a couple down last year with some authority, and I bet Sharples will get his chances in the coming years.

Even so, I'll take a well executed layup for an automatic 2 any time.  It seems like most of Hope's missed dunks in recent history have come in games that resulted in narrow wins or losses.  Making sure you get the points in a close game is more important than the "statement" made by a dunk.

Anyone remember Dan Gustad?   :o ;D   Soo-weet!

Speaking of dunking, can anyone help me out here. My buddies and I were trying to remember who it was last year or the year before who threw down a huge dunk in traffic against Hope at Devos. I can remember it was a blowout game, but when he threw that down I was awed. I want to say it was either Olivet, or one of the crappy non conference teams, Rochester maybe? Someone please help!

Seems to me it was Olivet, too, but I'm not clear with any details...

(And of course it's more important for everyone to be safe than to travel on a night like this -- thought that was a given.   :)  )

I remember a player from Aquinas dunking on Eric Voison late in a game at the DeVos two years ago.  I can't think of his name right now, but it was impressive and caught a lot of people off guard.

I think that one might of been Paul Bee? Ring a bell? I don't think that is the one I am thinking of though.
