So I go in for dinner at half time and come back to a 25-9 half... What happened?

Great games from the seniors tonight for Hope.

Its looking more and more like we'll see another Hope Calvin matchup.

NWHF:  I think GVW told the boys what was at stake.
Those guys really want to play Calvin again. :) :) :) :)

Good win for Hope.  They just had too much bench for Adrian.
Should be another classic tomorrow.

That DVS 3 at the buzzer was really the killer for Adrian.  Adrian just wasn't the same team after that.
So I classify that a 3pt. buzzer beater for Hope.

For anyone that may know, maybe you saw something at the game.

Where was Kelvin Carter tonight? Is he hurt? Sick?

Kelvin Carter was at the game, but in street clothes.. which would lead me to believe he was hurt, rather than sick. I think maybe they might be resting it before tomorrow, but that is purely speculation.

Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

We were told at the table that Carter suffered a concussion in practice this week.  His status for tomorrow is uncertain.

The ticket announcement at DeVos was that tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am at DeVos.  There was a Calvin sale at the game tonight.  I do not know if any tickets will be sold at Calvin tomorrow.  I doubt the game will be a sellout anyway.

Last year's championship game has a listed attendance of 3599, which is above capacity so I would imagine that's possible again tomorrow.

I know Carter had been hurt last week but is he still hurting or sick. He isn't on the box score and I don't recall hearing his name called.
Carter had a "mild concussion" after taking an elbow to the head in practice the other day. After the game he said he was "fine." Held out as a precautionary measure.

Well after watching two games tonight, I am a little concerned for tomorrow night. Calvin played with a lot of confidence and I could see that they had that "Calvin swagger" going on. Then watching Hope get off to a pretty slow start and thanks to a half court shot at the buzzer, Hope went into the half with the lead. The second half proved to be different for the dutchmen. All five starters played very well and they were able to pull away.

These past two games for Hope have not been their best of the year. They looked lazy and over confident. I hope they come into tomorrows game with a different mentality because I am guessing that Calvin truly thinks they can win this game and get in the NCAA tourny. Hope better be ready because they will probably be the hardest game of the season for them because both teams want that automatic bid and especially Calvin because they know there is no chance of a Pool C bid.

oh and just for the note... we all knew this was going to happen  ;)

I rode over from Lansing with my uncle and his retired friend from Albion College.

First words as his friend enters the car after a how ya doing Frank............"Well you know how hard it is to beat a team 3 times in one year."  :D

I was the only one laughing hysterically, but c'mon that was just too much for me. ;)
