(By the way, I'll be sitting in enemy territory tonight. Pray for me.)

This may mean you are "predestined" for another conversion experience. :D

Behind them, unfortunately. I counted 19 members in the Knight Club last night, so that wouldn't be too inconvenient. I guess we can expect a few more tonight.

By the way: the "airball" thing for the course of the game is so played out.

Vegas has quit takeing odds on whether Calvin will put a hand in Jesse Reiminks face tonight. :-\

I just hope they don't double team Vanderhiede tonight.  Let him score 30, I'm not sure Hope will win if that happens.

I am going to quote that wise old sage NB from a week ago when he said "the key for Calvin will be scoring more points than Hope". ;D

well the good thing is that when they do double team a player down, Calvin is now sprinting out to the players on the perimeter a foot away from them instead of jogging up to the players like before  :-\.  But I'm still worried about the double-team tactic since Hope does so well at not turning it over when they get double teamed, or just not turning it over in general for that matter.

... Calvin truly thinks they can win this game ....

oh and just for the note... we all knew this was going to happen  ;)

A quick review of the pick em contest would indicate almost the exact opposite.  Only 2 pickers are left, and they had Calvin beating Albion

Can anyone explain to me the tongue-lashing--complete with severe finger-wagging--DVS got from a ref last night?

CM: Shame on you for not mentioning this before.  :D  Perhaps the ref. should have t'd him. ;)

Correction, disclaimer, and apologies:  The answers to northb were actually posted by FDF.  He used my computer and forgot that I was still logged in.

I didn't see the incident that Erm mentioned.  I have no idea what happened, or why.  Knowing Erm, I believe it happened, but I couldn't tell you what was at issue.   :P

CM:  No apologies necessary.  Just trying to have some fun at your expense.  One shouldn't assume all people at a game see the same things.
BTW;  Heard Meijers got some Tums on the last truck to Holland. ;)

Awfully quiet in here just a few hours before the game of the year.....

Interesting ... the three referees for the game tonight are the same three who did the Calvin at Olivet game last Saturday.

Amherst, Mass Dartmouth, and Wash U all lose today.. Looks like a few bubbles have popped.
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

While I'm confident Hope will re-load next year, Calvin sure has lots of weapons and "should" be a force to reckon with.

A bit disappointing season I'd say for the Knights, but much to look forward to next year. I'd have to say, Calvin will be the team to beat and probably ranked highly in the pre-season, nationally.
