Would like to hear what the officiating was like tonight.  Must be nice not to have the MIAA crew there. ;)

Would rather have had the worst of the MIAA crews out there tonight.  Several ridiculous calls late in the game.  I guess I'll never be able to figure out how long a guy has to stand flat-footed, unmoving, with his hands and arm close to his chest to avoid being called for a blocking foul.  ???

At one point, the whole place (except the 50 or so Capital fans) started booing as a capital player went to the line.  It's pretty bad when the reffing inspires that much disgust.   :P

Well with Thomas More winning on the women's side it seems the Lady Dutch will have to travel again next weekend and Hope should be hosting. Wheaton and Ohio Wesleyan are easy drives and they'll fly in the winner of Oxy-Whitworth. GO HOPE!!!

Tribes of primitve hunters, with rhinestone codpieces rampant, should build pyramids of Chevy engines covered in butterscotch syrup to exalt the diastolic, ineffable, scintillated and cacophonous salamander of truth which slimes and distracts from each and every orifice of your holy refrigerator.

Thomas More winning has no effect on the women.  Howard Payne winning does.  We'll see how the NCAA treats a sectional with teams from Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and the Northwest.

We could HOPE for a Thomas More v. Hope matchup.  The only way that would happen is in the championship game.

Back to men's basketball....

Great game by Hope tonight.  I was again impressed with Hope's ability to adapt.  I must give out props to Bosch for his play as of late.  I think that he is looked past on a regular basis and has done a great job.  He had a great block/swat tonight that was very impressive.

On a side note, did anyone see the end of the UCLA/Cal game?  Wow!

Yes and yes.

Bosch's block was incredible. Also something to note: Kelvin Carter came into the game when the scrubs came in. Not sure if this means anything, but figured it was worth mentioning.

Great shot, not sure of the legality, but it counted so it was sweet.
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

A couple of interesting games on the men's scoreboard tonight:

University of New England topped Husson tonight, by a score of 77-72.

Misericordia fell hard to Carnegie Mellon, 54-69.

Newbury downed Western Connecticut, with a score of 76-65.

Gwynedd-Mercy edged Albright 83-78.

Trinity Christian had no problem with Northwestern (Minn.), 76-52.

Cortland State v. Oswego State...90-80.

No score yet from the Brooklyn vs. Stevens game.

And finally, York (N.Y.) downed New York University tonight, by the score of 56-44.

Now with your forecast, here's Stormy Weathers.

:D :D ::)

Couple of thoughts:

- Bosch did indeed play some good minutes off the bench - and that block was incredible.

- Marcus and Jesse were both dominating scorers tonight - and a powerful dunk by Jesse really lit the crowd on fire late in the second half.

- Your going to win a lot of games shooting 54% from the floor, 55% from three, and 81% from the line.

- The last three games, Hope's halftime adjustments have been great - signs of another great job by GVW.
