Questions is  - when are you going to quit ragging on our team and its supporters and talk about yours?

I'm assuming when you say "talk about yours" you're referring to Calvin.  Do you really want to hear more about our banners?

Anybody dusted them recently? ;)

We have them dusted each time we put up a new Mens Cross Country National Championship banner.

There's been some bitterness on this board, let's just say, Q ...

I'll say.

I mean...Rowan??

Rowan is about as good a team to mention to bring up bitterness as B-W would be. Heck, 12 years later and I'm bitter about that weekend. Titan, you are an IWU guy, right? Are you in agreement that we were robbed of what could have been an amazing true-D3-title game between Hope and IWU that year? When the time machine gets invented, that will be on my list of things to fix...

That would have been a great national championship game to see.  IWU lost on a crazy tip in with about 7 seconds left...if I recall, Hope played them tough too.

Rowan '96, to this day, is the best D3 team I've ever seen.

Hmmmm...

March (nearly April in the Midwest)...

Looking out the window here at daffodils, crocuses and buds on the trees...

Oh yeah... and it has been raining here ALL WINTER... so you would hate it!  ;)

Funny - why would you hang banners for other sports in a basketball/volleyball arena - padding the number of banners you can display?     ;D

I'll also pass on my congratulations to the Wash U Bears, they put on a great show this weekend and were without a doubt the best team in Salem.

Sorry my post about what Hope faced against WashU wasn't to your likeing but then my experience is nothing I say or do is to your likeing.  Pretty sure it has 100% to do with the fact I went to a different school, and cheer for a different team.  Its a sad way to go through life, but I pitty you.  All I did was post facts, and my opinions about them, didn't realize I had to meet your approval to be able to post something on this board, I'll try to remember that next time but I'm sure I'll forget.

I'm sorry I feel like I can post something more profound and indepth than this little gem of yours.......

I didn't get to that Final Four, but have heard enough and saw some highlites to believe that if had been there I'd feel the same.  For me personally the Platteville team in 98 was probably mine.  Not really a huge superstar among them but 2 or 3 really good D3 players and collectively as a team they could just play great defense.  Otherwise I'd probably have to go back to 1992.

i think we all need basketball to start at least i can support the holland blast saturday night

"D3"

Dangit, early bird gets the worm. I was scrolling down to make that exact point. +K for thinking alike.
