It's after a Texas Tech/Arkansas game.

Is the game being shown After another Division's Championship?  If so, there could be runover and us viewers will miss some of it!  >:( :o

Yes, D2 is on before us, but there is a "floating kickoff" time of 4:08-4:13 ... or so I've been told.

Our game is on the deuce, right? I know D2 is.

"The title will be decided on December 16, noon ET on ESPN2."

Well that explains why I couldn't find any reference to the network it was on listed on any of the Stagg-affiliated pages.

Boy, good thing I read the boards this year, or I'd be in the dark about everything.

If anyone has copies of Stagg Bowls on DVD, including yesterday's, or a way to get them on to DVD and send them to me, I would be interested in getting a copy. I will make it worth your while.

Trying to prepare this year made me realize I need to upgrade my VHS copies of several Stagg Bowls. Until I buy a VHS-to-DVD machine, can anyone help out?

Why cant the D3 playoff games be at least regionally televised? I can tell you first hand that the MUC/ Capital, MUC/ Wheaton, and MUC/ St. John Fishers games were worthy of any football enthusiasts time. Thank God for local TV. These games were delayed broadcast locally.  And Quite frankly....they were almost as well done as ESPNs Stagg Bowl broadcast. Espn could elevate their game a little IMHO.

Because the money wasn't in it.

The NCAA put money into the Semis.  I wish that I could see the bottom line on these games.

What would be nice is if we could gather those local broadcasts and somehow offer them.

I'm sure the local stations would be geeked to tell the people they sell ads to that they're getting national exposure, however limited.

And for us, we'd get the opportunity to put eyes to these teams, which would help a bunch in terms of evaluating them.

Man, I'm just giving all of my ideas away this week.

K MACK, talk to Image Video in Alliance Ohio about rebroadcast rights. They might very well be interested. The only sticking point might be the broadcasters. One of which is Joe Tait. Also known as the  "Broadcast Voice of the Cleveland Cavaliers". Hes a pro. But then again, hes also on the Board of Directors at MUC. Who knows? You might be onto something there K MACK.

Read last week that DePauw and Wabash had signed a three-year deal to have HDNet televise the Monon Bell game. The network did the game this past year as well. Am curious as to any other D III rivalries that might have a national or even regional television arrangement.

Amherst/Williams is on NESN.

Nationwide ratings for NBC for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup (Ottawa's 5-3 win over the Ducks) received a 1.1 rating and 2 share.

This matched the all-time low for primetime prgoramming, sports or otherwise, a rerun of "The West Wing" on July 23, 2005, which also drew a 1.1 rating.

Let's all work this season to boost the Stagg Bowl above 1.1 and 2.

Hockey is back?  When did they start playing again? haha.  The season is just way to long it is spring time almost summer time.  Who wants to be inside? It is baseball season.  There are spring practices (NFL).  Plus, it is the season of posting on d3sports.  D3FOOTBALL IS ALMOST HERE.

Some years NESN broadcasts New England DIII games in addition to Williams/Amherst.

Pat Coleman

When was the last time that actually happened?

I think Williams at Wesleyan - which means in 2005 or 2003 - perhaps both of those years.
