If I understand correctly, RPI is the first Division III school to hook up with these people. From the looks of the client base, I think this decision is driven more by the D-I hockey program than anything else.

Hockey is definetly the driving force behind RPI's athletics upgrade, can't wait to see how much they charge for football games.

Anyone catch Mt. Union's Nat Championship replay on ESPNU this morning? DII championship game is on now. Great to watch college football in July!
Speaking of CFB, Comcast Local did a piece that is airing now (tonight at 7 p.m. in the Indianapolis area) on GVSU's QB Cullin Finnerty. Followed him through the process of trying to get drafted...workouts with QB "guru" Steve DeBerg, alot of family stuff...was a pretty well interesting story about a really good D II QB who also appears to be a pretty neat kid as well.

I've heard a lot of good things about Finnerty, some from Chuck Martin himself.

These are the things you should tape and put on YouTube so we all can enjoy.

Don't ask though, I'm not sure how to do it either. ;)

I agree...

Hey, so I wonder if ESPN's new College Football Live show can squeeze in some time to bring back Hidden Video, or some other kind of weekly small-school mention (p.s., I'm available).

I mean, the show isn't called Division I-A Live, so wouldn't you think ... naaaah.

My son is headed to Mount Union from Eastern PA. I was wondering if their games are televised or available on the web for family and friends that can't make the trip.

I have been to games where local cable trucks are there, but I think those are tape-delayed replays in the Akron/Cleveland area. And they did have a game streamed live in the playoffs last year.

Your best bet might be to ask this question on the OAC board, they'd definitely know, and probably offer to send you a tape should the games not be available to you.

RE: MTU on TV

No live games.  The do have a delayed broadcast on Sat. nights on a local TV station.  Although they normally play on ESPN in mid December.   ;)

Mount normally televises one or two regular season games and all playoff games.  They are tape delay, last year on WIVM out of Canton.  Warner cable in the Akron-Canton area caries WIVM.  I'm sure you could arrange for some one to tape a game and send it to you.

Mount also has the DVD's of all (5)  ;D playoff games after the season at the book store. It has been fun to replay now and again in the off season.

PSU 80,

Good luck to your son, he should have a great college experience at dear old MUC.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

DVDs, really? Last time I saw a Mount playoff game it was on VHS, can't complain though.  ;)

Can you order from the bookstore online?

(wonders if Pat will pay for this)

Didn't find anything online, but I have seen the DVDs in the bookstore itself.  You'll have to make a visit in November to pick some up.  :)

I usually don't make it out that way until December  ;)
