What about the individual schools have podcasts or live feeds on their websites? That way they could target the fans and would work around and budget.

Hey, so I wonder if ESPN's new College Football Live show can squeeze in some time to bring back Hidden Video, or some other kind of weekly small-school mention (p.s., I'm available).

I mean, the show isn't called Division I-A Live, so wouldn't you think ... naaaah.
One of the coolest nights of college was walking past the library, seeing our starting RT run out and tell us we were going to be on Hidden Video...

I zoomed back to my place (studying? what? I was a slacker anyway, that hour wasn't gonna help by that point) and we tuned in. Sure enough... Chris Fowler saying a big play in the little town of Bethlehem.

One of safeties picked off a quick out pattern and ran it back 100+ yards in OT. The extra points didn't much matter, the pick sealed the win for us anyway (opp. was going for 2 to win, IIRC). But that was a heck of a way to end a game.

The commentator on ESPN's L'viile/UConn game said that he choses a one loss Oklahoma over undefeated Ohio St, as no. 1 because some of these teams keep scheduling the Baldwin Wallace's and Frostburg St's every year and go undefeated!!!!
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

The Willamette @ Menlo game was taped for replay tonight on a local bay area cable channel. It is billed as the West Bay Game of the Week.

Last night I was in Minneapolis and saw that today 5 DIV III games were being played at the MetroDome starting at 9:00AM. They are not on TV, but a photolink after the game is over. Wish I could have stayed another day.

I wish there was a Friday night game of the week for DIV III football on some TV hookup.

Nice to get the Fox College Sports WIAC game of the week on the Comcast  sports cable package here in Md., but the frequency of replays has dropped a bit now that they are picking up more college pux.

Well, you guys have nothing to complain about.  In Texas they will televise a JV middle school contest before they'll broadcast a D3 team.

lol, kind of true.  though internet broadcasts will change that in the future.

When Austin College played Swanee the game was on the net so I just used my Wii web browser to watch it on my TV.

Made a trip to the Scranton- Wilkes Barre area with the wife, her shopping me looking for a football game.
Ventured to an area near a Wegmans and saw a game.. Kings- Wilkes,It was raining just a little to hard for this old man to get out and watch.

Went back to the hotel room and there it was on a tape delay Wilkes-Kings playing on a super muddy field. Wilkes was up 19-0. Next thing I knew the wife was calling me to come pick her up.. Did not see the end.. Whoa is me.

Charter cable TV in Wisconsin will be featuring WIAC games on their Video-on-demand service.  It's the first time I've heard of this kind of partnership...

I assume you saw the footage of the end of the Trinity Millsaps game.  You can find it on YouTube and also on at WAPL.com and then go to the Rick and Len link.  14 laterals.  It was also on Sports Center.

I never come into the football board, so this may be REALLY OLD news! lol
