By the way, Newbie, No one on this board is speaking lowly of the Panthers. Try catching up from last weeks post (and even beyond) and you'll see for yourself that we find the Panthers to be a good up and coming team. Do your homework.

Personally, BigDT, I always enjoy seeing someone try to get a spitball past these guys. Even if one could, you still would run into Mr. Moderator, from whom these folks learned.

Perhaps someone will try to have their girlfriend act as their mouthpiece some day (if it hasn't happened) but eventually I'd read, "Aren't you going to meet 73 after the game tonight? You'd better get going!" or similiar.

I've found Chapman an entertaining team. A few more tweeks here and there and they'll be upsetting (yes) teams like Whitworth and Occidental by 2 or 3 points.

Feel free to ask your athletic director about scheduling LINFIELD and shoot me a personal message when you're logged in. That little greenie thing on the left side.

Here's what I garnered from DT's post:

His keyboard is missing the apostraphe
Oxy's secondary is so bad that Chapman decided it would be unfair to score against them on 3 separate occasions during the 3rd quarter
An Oxy loss would have resulted in the end of their football program
Chapman will pound CLU, since the Kingsmen are still on Oxy's schedule and Chapman is the best team Oxy will play this year
It's never a good idea for current players to post on this board

Oxy Bob, I know I am new here, but I am amazed at how fast you were able to post a picture of BigDT and the link to his petition - Very nice of you to honor his request of deleting the posts. We were all young and reckless at one time or another - especially when defending our football teams.
I haven't laughed that hard for awhile!

You're right Bob. The game this weekend will likely determine which team Oxy gets to lose to in Round 1 of the playoffs. That is if Oxy manages to win the SCIAC.

Oxy just needs to take care of business one game at a time. No need to worry about the SCIAC crown as of now.
We have to beat the other Cats this weekend. Then hope to meet your Cat's down here in Sunny So.Cal in early November for the first round of the dance.

That would be fine with me---a lot cheaper than trying to fly up to Oregon!
