Bearcatfan the penguins on your post have been reported missing for a few months and an APB was sent out by Bobo on the WIAC. As their surrogate ??? we respectfully request thier immediate return unharmed to BoBo or Pat will have to place a cease and desist order on the post.  In lieu of that a case of beer will do.  ;D S&R team being assembled and trained as last resort. Video of training exercise attached.

Just one, with rumor of some extra stands being set up in the North end zone area.  The good news is that the Visitors usually sit in the closest section to the Concession Stand & b-rooms and the WU section is farther down.

Oh, and you can sit anywhere -- it's all general admission.  (Some of the seating looks like it's reserved, but it's not.)
When I drove by McCullough last night after work, I didn't notice any additional bleachers. Unless they're being set up today?

The last time Linfield played that bush league team, 52 points went up (on the scoreboard) at the Catdome.

....I'm taking care of that....I ordered a DVD on how to stop the Fly. It was a best seller in Hong Kong.

Alright more seating is in place behind the North end zone. Looks real comfy, too. About 100 extra seats of nice Aluminum bleachers.

Only ONE case of beer for the WIAC fans? I thought Wisconsin was Beer Nirvana!  ::)

For the Oxy faithful, the hourly forecast for Game Time tomorrow in the 97301 keeps looking better and better:

12PM Partly Cloudy 47F 10% chance of showers
1PM Partly Cloudy 48F 10% chance of showers
2PM Partly Cloudy 48F 10% chance of showers
3PM Partly Cloudy 48F 10% chance of showers
4PM Partly Cloudy 47F 10% chance of showers

Should be another gorgeous Autumn afternoon for D3 football in the NWC! Enjoy it while it lasts!

QuoteGorgeous?

Is that the State Bureau of Tourism or the Salem Chamber of Commerce?

Come on, this is LxAx you're playing.

Stoonk....come in, Stoonk...

You have seen both Occidental and Willamette play. I only need one more winner for the pick 'em. I'm relying on you.

Oops, hard for me to remember that folks from LxAx have no concept of Autumn.

Sure we do....it's when we're stuck in traffic in the dark due to the end of daylight savings, there are multiple fires burning, and....................we hear about rain on the news :) :) :)

I'm assuming the entire SCIAC board traveled North since I have two posts in a row, separated by many hours.  Congrats to Oxy on a great season.  Willamette is a good team and managed to break off several big plays to score (as they have done all season).  I'm eagerly awaiting stats since I didn't get to listen to the game today.  Hope to see some SCIAC teams on Linfield's schedule next year, preferably down here in SoCal so I can go to them and maybe meet some of you folks!

Ahhh yes, the telltale signs of Autumn in SoCal. Do the palm fronds change color (other than when they're buring?  :P

Great game today Oxy, and congrats on a perfect regular season. Tough having to run into the Bearcat buzzsaw in the first round - both teams should have had home games today.

Yes, Oxy was represented well.  It was a good game, except I was very confused during the last 2 minutes or so.  Just couldn't keep up with what was going on!  You had to be there.   A lot of penalties and middle of the field ref discussions.  Well, I'm glad we got the win.   Congrats to Oxy on their perfect regular season & I'm sure we'll be seeing more of your team.

They grow QB's big in S. Cal.

I think the Whittier QB's start the season pretty big but by the end they are small due to the constant pounding.....  ;D

No, have you seen this guy?  It says on the program that he's 6'5" and 220#, but I'm guessing he had a growth spurt since that was written!!  Big QB & fast!
