I didn't know Tremello had opportunities at the arena and CFL levels. He was a good player, but can he compete at those levels? It will be interesting to see his decision and where he ends up.

Not sure what is happening but it looks like the new OC & DC at Redlands are out. I wonder if the budget cuts have anything to do with it? Looks like they are going with a smaller staff. That would be a big change as Redlands usually has ten plus coaches every year.

Cal Lu is getting an UCLA  transfer who played DE and TE at UCLA and played while Dorell was there.  What a tremendous addition to the CLU roster.  I coached him in youth football and travel basketball and this kid is an A+++++.  I don't want to mention his name yet until it is officially announced.

Looks like the SCIAC is crown might be purple.

Karl Dorrell hasn't been the coach at UCLA since 2007...so how old is this washout you're talking about?

The athlete you described as a washout is 6'6" and built a monster.  Come to a CLU game and I will introduce you to him.  You can tell him he is a wash out.

One transfer does not a SCIAC champ make, I think we all know that.  For every Andy Collins or Brian Stuart there are plenty of guys who didn't significantly alter their team's destiny.  Seems like a lot of those type of guys quit during training camp when they find out that D3 is for real and they might have to (gasp!) compete for a spot.

Very true Nihon......... but this kid actually played his redshirt junior year at UCLA.  What I really meant was he will really make a major contribution for CLU.  His dad told me ..."he just wants to play."  I'm sure he will.

So when is the official visit with Mount Union?  Is he staying overnight with players and how soon does he need to make his decision?  What's does Mount's QB situation look like for next season?

Why not transfer to CalLu?  They have an up and coming program, good talent back, and not returning QB.

Matt is visiting MUC at the end of the month.  He is visiting a d2 in Mississippi next week.  He was in Iowa last week.  He has been admitted to Chapman. 

As to CLU........we live 3 miles from there so it really wasn't an option.
