Let's get back to how many of those Solute transfers are still on the squad.

Looks like CLU still has around around 20 transfers.

Poor OB and DOC....they can't get over that CLU is the new sheriff in town in the SCIAC...McEnroe knows what hes doing when he brings in transfers....they help the team immediately and play as starters....and then leave for "personal reason".....they don't standon the sidelines and only come in to run out the clock

CLU is the team to beat...no doubt about it....sorry Redlands and Oxy

DOC you are so bitter....CLU pwned you so just accept it...and if they play again Cal Lu will beat you again....phone it in!!!!!!!

No doubt about CLU being the team to beat in the SCIAC but you have an interesting use of the term pwned---which implies domination....hardly what happened in that game--and as for phoning it in...well I guess that is what will have to happen since the guy who made the difference won't be on the field if and when that rematch happens.

Confidence is one thing, but IF there is a rematch and Cal Lu wins, then you have gained nothing because you called it. IF there is a rematch and Cal Lu doesn't win, then maybe you would have wished that you "phoned it in" to save some embarrassment if you attended the game.

Don't let your enthusiasm and support for Cal Lu (a good team) get in the way of common sense. You seem to be looking for an argument with almost every post. Throw some facts or statistics out to support your statements and then let everyone DEBATE you. Good Luck!

SCIAC Fab2...bitter not a quitter? Got beat by the Solutes, yes, owned is what happened in the playoffs last year that opened the door for the transfers. Respect Mr. Mac and I told him thanks several times for scheduling the WILDCATS this year. OXY showed well last year at home and the Solutes pulled the plug on the 18 game losing streak the SCIAC had. Beat LINFIELD  twice in a season or 18 games and you might 'own them'.

Thanks for the posting tips dad....I wasnt even talking to you...I was talking to OB and DOC and the last time I checked they were witty enough to respond

DOC....you got beat...18 games or whatever...means nothing....itll be two in a row come playoff time

Yeah I predict CLU will beat Linfield again...so what?...if CLU wins then I'll crow some more and if they don't the Linfield guys will let me know about it...I can take it....dalhby you should stick to talking about Chapman....a football program which no one on the face of the friggin earth cares about....totally insignificant

Hey tooth and OB I need to make a little pocket money...do you know where I can make a quick $80 or so...just make sure that its in cash....."You didn't get this from me"

SCIAC Fan2,

When you post on the board you are posting for everyone to see. If you only want to direct your comments to a certain audience, then might I suggest that you send them a personal message.

You are welcome for thanking me for the posting tips. Being that you were so thankful, I will give more tips in the future.

I made arrangements for you to work in my friend's horse stable. He can pay you in cash. I told him you were really good at shoveling sh*t.

Maybe he can make a few bucks being a valet parking cars at Chapman
This... is a simple game. You throw the ball. You hit the ball. You catch the ball.  "There are three types of baseball players: those who make things happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened."

Was checking out some stats today within the SCIAC and saw some things that stood out ...

- Pomona - Maki's stats are out of control ... I remember his sophomore year he crushed the conference & was completely out of reach by the rest of the SCIAC receivers - looks like he hasn't slowed down. I would think he has to have already surpassed all Pomona and likely all SCIAC career totals for receiving. Any shot he is in the national record realm for a career? A bff at QB must be every receiver's dream now ...

- Redlands - Selway???? I wasn't buying into the All American hype but certainly thought in the pre-season he would give Caron a better run for his money in terms of leading the conference at QB. So far doesn't look like he has done anything great. Maybe it’s the old age.

- Oxy -  I know they lost a lot of weapons but they always had a few receivers in the top of the ranks, and never had a bad running game - seems like they still have that and the new QB is doing alright. Is their defense their downfall so far? I'm used to seeing them blow out the teams that are sticking with them so far this year.

- LaVerne - Where are Cedric Ho's tweets???

- Claremont - They had a tough D a few years back but it seems like stat wise their D is performing well again this year, and has an opportunity to top the SCIAC in a few areas.

- Whittier - Has to be frustrating for the Poet fans, can't say I don't enjoy it.

- Cal Lu - Running game in general has shocked me so far. Back in my day not being able to run the ball effectively really hurt us in some big games. O-line is huge (NOT ALL TRANSFERS, many of starting key lineman are 4 year guys), and the running back core is DEEP compared to years past. The fullbacks are both studs and a lot of fun to watch share the role. Really excited about Chambers who has stepped into the starting spot and is killing it so far. The loss of Mosier was big obviously because the kid could play - but let’s just remember when all of the complaining is being thrown around that he was not the starting running back for CLU.

Looking forward to a BIG win for the homecoming crowd this weekend at good old Mt. Clef's final homecoming game. I will pour one out for Mount Clef pre-game, but will not have the rest of my cup confiscated because we don’t go down like that (unlike the CATs tailgaters who had to endure a major loss before the loss).  :D ;D

Interested to see the result of the big game up North this weekend as well…

k4...Mosier was NOT the starting runnng back Sept. 11 and that was amazing. Not many mention he played with a cast on his left arm obviously limiting switching hands. And it is a fact he ran ringers around the 'CATS
Solutes did give up 42 points that day. Gives me some bitter hope if you manage to block some more last second game winning field goals and win the SCIAC.

OB, you're so kind . . . I was thinking he was more of what is shoveled, rather than he who does the shoveling.  Your generous nature never fails to astound.

SCIAC Fan2:

This is the SCIAC Football Board, I only mention Chapman when writing about a SCIAC team playing them.

You state that no one on.....cares about.... (Chapman), Do you have some facts to back up your totally ridiculous statement, or were you just being very child like
with your fingers (mouth) again. Like when you posted with only a face, just like a child. I assume that your next posting will be a face with a tongue sticking out.
