I hope thats true. While Chambers is very good he is just not very big, and seemed to have wore down late last year.We do need a big bruising back to run behind a large o-line.

The backfield is shaping up to be deep, experienced, and solid.

Redlands has a solid track record in recruiting very good running backs. I'm sure the recruit that spurned them for Cal Lu was not the only one they were recruiting. Either way the season should be a fun one. I'm curious to see what Oxy puts together after a down year for them.

k-4, what do you know that i dont, after Chambers  and a couple other servicable backs ,what do  we have. What we need is another back like Brian Stuart.

Doesn't sound solid back there???
Service to others is the rent you pay while your time on Earth.

CLU could possibly grab a Miami back - for the first game of the season, at least.

This is the back I was talking about that will be a big help to Chambers. The reason I was most surpised he chose CLU over Redlands is because his High School was the same school that one of Redland's best backs in the past 10 years went to as well. Camp will tell all. I will be at practive this weekend and post some updates.

k-4, not only is Mosier back but coach Mac says they have a bigger and maybe faster back than Mosier also. The coach was very happy about the rbs. The dbs also got alot tougher to throw on with the return of a kid who played in 09  but missed last year.CLU also added another wr who coached seemed really jazzed on.Looks like it Could be a fun year for CLU if all the pieces gel. :D

Kingman 4----Jesse James was in TO [Thousand Oaks] looking for you on Saturday and told me he has  some very important information for you .No - K-4 he did not arrive by horse back - nor packing his pistols ! The bandit said something about his Kingsmen "sleeper pick "  of  a new Lu Baller Freshman RB wanting to play for the  CLU Ballers.

We have a new season, a few new headcoaches, new players, some old players gone.  I realize Cal Lu is the pre-season pick to repeat, but does anybody have any thoughts on how things might actually turn out?  Will there be some also-rans from last year that move up?  Some successful ones that drop down?
