I too am interested.  Spoke with an Oxy individual the other day.  Said they had quite a few kids committed to come to Oxy.  Said several might be capable of playing right away.  Anyway felt they would be strong and ready to compete.

Hope others fill in the blanks for the other schools.

Pat,

Nice article on the frontpage. Good to see DIII football making a contribution to the recovery in New Orleans.

Pat Coleman

Seriously. I hope other schools follow Redlands' lead on this.

DefLeopard

Count me in on the SCIAC discussion. I'm a new to the board and here represent La Verne.

Pat Coleman

Excellent. La Verne representation is pretty rare around here.

Apparently you're not here to represent, if you deleted yourself after one post.  :-\

Fight ULV

While DefLeopard gets squared away with his account, I'll be here to represent the green and orange.  Go Leos!!!!!!

Pat Coleman

Next time you can just change your e-mail address, rather than deleting and starting over.

Hat's off to the Redlands Football program!
Just gained a great deal of respect for Coach Maynard and the entire program.
To get 50 guys to travel from California to Louisiana, for 2 full weeks to do some very needed community service is Awesome!
I'm sure that the impact of their good work there in St. Bernard's Parish as great as it was, will not be nearly as great as the impact that St. Bernard's Parish made on the Football program as a whole.
Great Article!

Redlands Football Haiku:

Wind and rain and woe
Katrina kicks our spirit
Redlands returns it

Thanks for your good work from a Guilford College Quaker.

From afar, Occidental seems the likely choice to repeat as champs in the SCIAC.  Who does Oxy have returning at wide-out?

dawgs go deep

Im new to d3 sports and this board...is it active?????

dawgs go deep

Ok...I didnt see that the recent posts start at the end...

Redlands is rebuilding...they got a QB Matt Wabby from Crespi who was 2nd team all state and was recruited by Louisville, Nevada, Pitt, Fresno and others.....he chose Redlands because he could play baseball there and because of Coach Maynard..   he threw for over 2700 yds in 2005, with 23 td's, and led his team to back to back CIF championships in 2004 and 2005.  he is 6'3" 235 lbs...strong arm.  Looks like the bulldogs got a good one.

dawgs go deep

I discovered he was all CIF also.....and he has film on scout.com and rivals.com.

OK, since it isnt football season yet and I dont have a life, I read the entire SCIA board.  I need some help with the abbreviations...and I need to become familiar with some of the schools.....the up coming SCIA  season looks to be very interesting....

WOW...I had no idea of the rivalry that exists....I represent Redlands....and all I can say is .....GO DAWGS!!!  BEAT OXY AND CAL LU!

How do I get Karma points?????

How can you go to a particular page without going through all the pages?

Gray Fox

The proper abbreviation is  "SCIAC" not  "SCIA."
