Redlands didn't have the raw talent of NCC either. This game will be intense and it will have a playoff game type atmosphere. Couple that with "The Who" opening their second class facility to "The Runner" and we should have a potent mix for some big game fireworks. It's going to be a good one no doubt.

Oh yeah before I forget, FU Cal Who!!!

My Predicitons for the CLU vs. Redlands game:

1.) Redlands will win ... the lamest warm-ups award
2.) Redlands will show up with 70+ players that are the best in the country ... at looking stronger than they really are, and barking while coming out of the locker room.
3.) Redlands will play tough defense. No jokes here.
4.) Redlands will try to run a spread passing attack when everyone knows they should be running the triple-I formation. Their offense will implode at some point during the game.
5.) CLU will have dominating drives, but will struggle for 1-2 quarters of play moving the ball. They will minimize turnovers that have always kept Redlands close in the past. CLU defense will control the game. Redlands will drive but will struggle in the Redzone with turnovers.

OVERALL: This game will start the great tradition of Redlands never winning at William Roland Stadium (the SCIAC, and west coast's top facility). Losing here for Redlands will be less painful than losing at "The Runner" like they have done in 2 of the last 3 seasons, but even worse when they get home they will realize that they still live in Redlands.

Sounds like a great night for "the Who"... lets make it 4 in a row.

With the "smack" talk beginning between UR and CLU, I wonder if the locker rooms will need bigger bulletin boards? And to think there is still a week to go before two very good teams face off! Too bad that it is so very early in the season. I would have loved it to be the last game of the season. The SCIAC
board would be full by then.

Where is everybody?  SCIAC board is a bigger wasteland than ever....OxyBob???

If I'm not mistaken OxyBob is very busy with work and trying to sign up for the LINFIELD mini-semester in January so that he can broaden his affiliations.

It is not a wasteland.  Posters go for quality over quantity. ::)

I was not around for Oxy's win over UPS, and then the Tigers were beaten by Menlo. I'm at a loss.

When Redlands beats the Who at their new inferior field, will the Bulldogs move to the top 10?  How is NCC ranked ahead of Redlands still any way?

cludad

That mr. dawg is that west coast bias. If you beat a team and havent lost a game there is no way they should be ranked ahead of you.But i am looking foward to seeing how far CLU jumps after sat. victory. enjoy the drive over because it will be a long drive back.

The war of words is escalating!!!!    8-)

Sine the Who have joined the SCIAC, Redlands has owned Ted Runner west.  6 victories to 4 losses.  As far as the Runner as East Valley High, what a jokester you are.  Ted Runner, 7000 seating capacity.  Ted Runner West, one sided practice facility with 2000 seats.  Doesn't St Bonnies play in a bigger place?
