Thanks for the nice words.....cant wait for the season to start....

As to the Redlands QB recruit.....I was just informed he also made all CIF in baseball and was nominated for all state in baseball.   Two sports for the price of one.

Can anyone give me an update on who they will have coming in as freshman?

Man,

Its great to hear that when someone new joins the board everything comes alive. In that sense, thanks for waking some people up.

I hope you are all doing well.

The off season should have gone well for many teams.

For one thing, I have heard that Cal Lu is once again ready to build off their second place finish. However, I think they wil be re-loading a bit on defense if i am not wrong.

Words from "The Rock" have lead everyone to hear that the tigers will be doing well in adjusting to the loss of 21 seniors. Although, this seems to be a lot of numbers, we need to still remember that there were others on the team of 50 plus who contributed to winning the SCIAC crown.
Then again, they have a group of leaders that will do well in helping the underclassmen step up and contribute.
Look for the 0-line to be a big upgrade of the tigers.  The tiger D should return as a strong unit. Even special teams will be looking good.

I hope whitter, Lavern, Redlands and pomona and the staggs did well in the spring. Whats the word at these other school? Please inform us.

I read the entire board and its realy nice to see the loyality that you guys have with your teams....I did not expect such intense interest in d3 football....not a slight, just a lack of knowledge on my part.

I have been on the high school boards before and there is a lot of bitterness from one team to another, but here there is mostly support of your own team, some arguing about how is going to win, which is always fun, and what appears to be some all in fun smack talking.  It also seems that the entire SCIAC pulls for each other when the playoffs come around...that is really great.

I cant wait for the season to start and to get my edit button so I dont look like a complete moron. 8)

Yes, I plan on it.....unless things change.  I take it Trinity is a powerhouse...is that correct?

Yes they are.  Now that you have a solid grounding in the SCIAC, it is time to check out the South Region and the SCAC board to find out more about them.

I hope to be there myself.  I live in Dallas.  The best thing about Trinity is that their visitor stands are better than the home side. ;D

From afar, Occidental seems the likely choice to repeat as champs in the SCIAC.  Who does Oxy have returning at wide-out?

This may be true if Collins returns...from what I know Redlands has a good group of freshman that will contribute this year.....

Does anyone know where I can find a complete list of Redlands recruits?

What's up with Collins?

dawgs go deep

I wasnt trying to imply anything was up other than in reading past posts I guess there was some doubt as to whether he would return or not.

with Oxy loosing 22 starters, he may not be enough to return them to a SCIAC Championship......

GO DAWGS.....GO DEEP

DGD,

Welcome to the SCIAC board. Always nice to have another Dawg running loose around here. How long have you followed Redlands football?

RFB..thanks I think the board will be alot of fun based upon last years posts...

Grey fox...yeah but not of who you might think...she  doesnt even play football!...but I love her anyway!!!!!!

Dawgs,

Again, It doesn't matter how many kids left this year. What will matter is that the tiger offense has a good amount of returners. The only area that will matter is the O-line. Which in my opinion will adjust very well in filling in some shoes. This area and hub of the team will indeed pick-up the same mentallity and expectations from the past O-lines that have gone through.

The R.B.'s return good starters, The WR's are loaded with good kids, T.E.'s are a plus (i guess) and of course the QB's will pave the way for what we all hope will be another excellent season.
