Very cool that Collins was honored at the game, and that OXY got the win on that day.

One more picture from the ceremony:

O-Bob, not sure if you took that photo but what a great shot.  Nothing else to say but what a beautiful picture.

Great background shots as well. Love the pix with the orange background. God must have been watching over Oxy that night!

f you are good enough to play right away you will and kids respect that mentality.

...and if you're not good enough we'll just replace you with a one and done transfer.

HI-YO!

Correct. Better be good.

In other news, Linfield's new solid replacement back for injured Hill (a transfer) is a transfer.

D O.C.

Point taken.
After getting run around by a transfer in 2010 we learned how to stay competetive with teams that are trying to better themselves by any means necessary.  ???
MVP of the 2004 Stagg Bowl was a transfer. Never came back the next year, either.

Oh K4...was just poking a little fun.  Nothing wrong with transfers *cough* Brett Elliott *cough*.  We get our fair share of great guys that took a different road to Linfield.  Was merely pointing out that CLU seems to have a handful of the one and done variety over the past few years they seem to go after to patch up some holes in their lineup.

In fact the CLU student newspaper just ran a story on CLU's transfer philosophy.

Jenkins played two years at Linfield (03 and 04) and graduated.  He had the option to come back but he already spent 4 1/2 years in college at that point (between Oregon State and Linfield) and decided to move on.  Would have been great to have him in 2005 but understood why he moved on.

I know, I know, WC11, if he only would have come back for the last possession with Whitewater is my fantasy.
Sorry C-LU lost their Willamette transfer. He did good.

cludad

CLUs  Moorepark transfer will do a great job in place of their willamette transfer. ;D

These guys diplomas wont say transfer; they'll say CLU. They are not CLU via Valley College players, just CLU players. They make this team what it is. So CLU #7 leads the team- for another 10games, I hope.

cludad

wildozer, its sort of a running thing with our linfield friends,i really believe no harm is intended. The CLU faithful love ALL our kids and are glad to have them all.

I C. Just bleeding violet and gold.

We had some time getting used to the change of colors around here- Covina was Cardinal and White and cardinal, burgundy, red is verboten here. :'(

Thanks!!!! It means a lot. I think he is in the right place and so does he. Glad to be a Kingsmen. He can learn the offense from the seniors and be ready to take the helm next year.

The '10 &11 San Dimas games are memorable. And the '10 Westco 4th quarter comeback.
His first varsity game in 09 as a sophomore against Walnut was amazing.

Coach Mac has an I <3 Transfers pin in his office that someone gave him ... Its all in good fun. Keep them coming in my opinion, best player will play regardless.

I would love to wear a we <3 transfers CLU shirt to games.
