Fear the Poet

Well, the season went by too damn fast. The kid plays his last football game ever on Saturday against Redlands. A bittersweet day for sure.

Hopefully my beloved Poets can make a game of it. Practice is going well this week, so I am confident they will.

C-L U....do not be so embarrassed about having a Strength of Schedule of 81. Mount Union is 76. Now, the whole SCIAC.....

CalLuforLife

Embarrassed? The only two games we have control over, we scheduled two regionally ranked teams. Not our fault the SCIAC is sub-par.
Cal Lu Class of '93 and season ticket holder for 40 years. My parents were class of '67 and '68 and I grew up on the campus. Go Kingsmen!!!

Actually CLU only has control over 1 game. I think they are locked with plu because it's a sister school.A couple of years ago they wanted to move on from plu but the school said no go.NOT CLU's FAULT THE SCIAC IS DOWN THIS YEAR,THEY DO THEIR PART.i think last year CLU's sos was pretty good since the league was better.I Guess they should have scheduled umhb instead. ;)

Gray Fox

There are about 15 sister schools.
Here is the latest regional rankings.  Many are Lutheran.  PLU has won four national championships.  They are 9-8 vs CLU. http://www.golutes.com/sports/fball/history#postseason

Don't complain.

Fox ,i'm not complaining. I was just saying an idea was floated and was turned down.Plu may have won championships in the PAST, but the past few years have been a little rough. I'm very pleased to see them have a really good football team this year and by the looks of it for the next few.All i was saying is CLU has very little control over their sos and i'm pretty sure D O.C. knows this ;D

Are you suggesting that D O.C. would post something just to stir up trouble?  I can't believe you would suggest something so outrageous.   ::)
Go Cats!

D O.C.

I hear Ramay has been running the Chapman offense impeccably this week, MonroviaCat, so count me out.
I know the solutes cannot drag their league up with them.

I won't take credit for the fact that he is getting the ball so much finally ... But I did put in 3 years of solid complaining. By far that best player I have ever seen in DIII, and a great kid. Shout out to coach Lugo for finding kids like this and showing them what D3 football is all about.

The young man is a hell of a football player and seems like a good kid to go along with it.  Congrats to him and every senior who are wrapping up their college football careers.  Goes by so fast but the time is packed full of great memories that will last a lifetime.

Eric is the best football player ever to play at Cal Lutheran. We've sent some folks to the NFL but I don't believe there has ever been a Kinsgmen player that was so dominant at his position. It's been a pleasure to watch him and we'll miss him. I hope I get to watch at least three more games this year  :) :)....

I, also, know how good he is/was and I have to wonder (and I know this is snarky) how much better he can/could be if he built those legs up and that was my first impression 3 years ago. Guy's more Chris Bosch than Randy Moss.
