Anyone seen olddog?

Who in the hell is 41? I don't pick up on chatter very well ask my wife.  That was not me at the game at all,  I actually enjoyed myself that day, I loved the environment. Went by the place where Parker was stabbed and said a prayer for his family. Honestly seeing those stickers on the kids helmets puts things in perspective. No reason to be upset with my puppies. They will get better hopefully this year if not next.

I think some of your fans were home watching the Ducks.

When I heard our pre-game radio broadcast, I feared it would be more than 28. Heck we had our fourth string tackle trying to hold (not block)  #55 ....every single play, sometimes we slide protect and we were still late...what are you going to do . We did not have the horses.

41=>55....55=>41

so who is the favorite to win the SCIAC?

The program that is least mediocre in a conference that is beyond mediocre. A few more years of this and the conference should just shutter football, just an awful product on the field, embarrassing really.

D O.C.

If the SCIAC shutters football the NWC is on an island with only one coconut tree.

Cal who?

CLU appears the be the favorite right now...but what a terrible non-conference for the SCIAC as a whole.

olddog

CLU is a slight favorite...Chapman if they can get three starters back.
Redlands was missing 8 starters against Linfield and season ending injuries are mounting, I will let the SCIAC coaches figure that one out.  Unless a bunch a freshman and sophomore offensive linemen step up and pull off a miracle, the puppies will struggle to win 5 games in conference.

Like 8 mediocre starters would make a difference. The talent pool at Redlands has went down drastically in the last 5 years, it's shocking to watch. The current starters on this team would not have made the roster on the Redlands teams of the 90's & early 00's. I bet this team would have trouble beating Redlands HS, Redlands East Valley HS would beat this team for sure.

...and OxyBob.

I honestly believe the SCIAC will be a 3-way tie for first with Redlands, Cal Lu and Chapman all beating each other (in some form).  The team I see deciding the whole thing will be Oxy and their wins, which will knock someone out of it.  I don't think Oxy will win the conference but they are getting better.

One that I do know is that the NWC is so far ahead of the SCIAC it's not even funny.
