Wow...when was the last time the Hens won 5 in a row...could be fun at Redlands this week as the two only conference undefeated SCIAC teams go at it !

If UR plays like last night, the POC Hens will win by 14. thank godness for CMS having the worse offensive line in the league. UR brought pressure with 3 or 4 man rush. I can see why the Regals beat them with their good d line. Plus The Regals run game is better than UR. CMS was very over rated this season. The only group that I would say is good. D line and inside backers.

UR offense looked horrible last night, could not run ball, mostly due good play by CMS, but a few injuries catching up to us as more games on tape.

The game will come down to which team can run the ball next week. In fact this will be the case vs. the Regals too.

Righ now I think  the Regals are playing the best ball.

My final conference pre-season picks...1 to 4, could easily be reversed. I think 5-2 team might go to the playoffs.   I doubt anyone goes undefeated.

1) Athena's...Return most of team, no depth but some really good players at D line and DB, got really lucky against UR and Oxy...with Target on back will loose at least one game, Play UR at UR...UR will be gunning for them
2) OC Panthers, Still some kids left from two really good recruiting classes. If O line matures they will be tough. Play fast, could slide to 5 easily, depth issue ....
3) Dawgs...Lets see how hard the O line work in the summer. If they stayed overweight could slide to 5 or beyond. Need new QB, but depth at all other spots the best in conference, Defense could be as good or better than three years ago
3) Regals...A lot of kids have experience, much like UR...Could go to #1, new OC, my most improved team this season
5) Leo's, lost a great class of kids, d Sparks was their team. He was the real deal. Need new QB too...program is a lot better than in the past
6) 66k Protestors (Oxy) ...No depth, lost RB, d front and o front, not good enough to be champs, QB is tough and don't take lightly
6) Mighty Pen's, unknown, but no reason they cannot get talent with Admission standards and best aid in conference
7) POC College, Formerly PP....Too busy renting apartments out, I wonder if the root in the east end zone,  still there?

Old Dog sure missed this one....Pre season prediction flop

Panthers were more like pussy cats, not a lot up front and offense has been offensive
CMS, worse O line in league
Regals seem to have re-grouped they better hope it does not come down to fg...Best athletes
Dawgs playing better than last year but in part league is down, offense continues to be spotty
Oxy Flag destroyers, Karma I guess...who would have thought go down hill so fast, worse D front in the league...
The Leos look like a one hit wonder
POC College, wow, what a couple good O linemen do for a program...story of the year by far
Poets, no surprise there, but much better than last year.

Good win against a very scrappy, Pomona team. I like this Redlands team, night and day difference
from last years train wreck. One thing though, why pass when you're running the ball down their throat? I loved the move late in the game going to the power I, and they could not stop it. No need to throw the ball, just keep pounding the ball and put the game away. Redlands is lucky that interception did not lead to a Pomona game winning score.

Dogs, were in the red zone four times and did not score, we have to walk away with a FG.

Yep. Need to get that figured out real quick, although Redlands kicker is pretty good. Need to stomp ****t*er this week, and then get ready for Cal Who.

I'm hearing from a couple of my buddies that are donors at Cal Lu that there may be some changes coming. Cal Lu has had 3 straight years of 4-5 seasons and a real possibility of going 3-6 or 4-5 this year. Anyone else hearing this chatter?

The first change that should be made is getting rid of those awful gold pants.

Have you heard anything about Oxy?  Bad team.  Bad GRAY uniforms.

I think Coach Mac should be given another 10 years to turn it around...

Looks like Cal Who's admissions department put the kibosh on his suspect transfer pipeline. Watching them implode as a program is a beautiful thing.

Can't they still work out that Fall semester and gone plan?
