All conference teams do not mean a lot to me, I don't want to get into positions and players, but those that watch many games know some kids got left off that had better years than others on it and were more important to team than those voted in.

So only 7 Bulldogs make all conference from a team that was 7-0, and closest teams were 5-2...., ....Basically rest of the coaches in the league are saying they got out coached by Maynard...when they had 8 and 9 players on all conference teams....Maybe a little envy going on...Never seen a first place team with so few players all conference.

UR will be good next year and challenge for league title again, few holes on depth at the d line and WR...but many key players back, including the O line is intact...Plus another good offseason with our new strength coach...He has been key. Good momentum with the program.

Agreed. I was surprised at the lack of representation for Redlands players, but 7-0 and Conference Champs is all that really matters. Redlands needs to bring in a strong recruiting class to build the program and take the next step. I really liked this years team, they were a throwback to the 90's/early 00's Redlands teams that owned the conference. Hopefully the players work hard in the weight room and stay hungry, they need to repeat and get that first playoff win next year.

Listen to you RFB.
You mean get many playoff wins next year.
You don't settle for one!
Could be a reality if Redlands keeps getting sent away from McMinnville.

Oh joy, get sent away from McMinnville to Belton. Congratulations Redlands, do you choose door 1 and death by flamethrower, or door 2 and death by firing squad. Can we at least get sent to Coe or some overrated team in the East where our knife has a chance to keep us alive. Lol..

In 2018 the conference adopts the SCIAC/NWC pre-determined scheduling ...#1 vs #1....it will only help the SCIAC

I really like the changes Maynard has made to the program. They are doing what they need to do to go from good to great. They went out and recruited some JC kids that really helped on defense and QB. They have the right strength coach (which translated to how much more physical UR was this season versus last and fourth quarter finishes) , and now have a fourth fulltime coach. The only negative UR has is the high cost, tight budgets for gear and movement to grant less aid to some students.

Linfield is on their radar, I really wish we would have played them in the playoffs, based on the three playoff scores against MHB by UR, LF, and Wh....We would had a much better chance than the last few years....no doubt
Less than two more years of Gavin.

All Redlands has to do is make sure those JC transfers get their degree.

olddog.....keep thinking.
2003, first game 10-49. Bulldogs did what they had to do but still gave it up in the 1st round in an AWAY game 23=31.
Moral victory and never the 2 shall meet until 2014, 3-36 and 2015 7-44.

Me cants thinketh from where springeth your false hope.

Looking at scores, Redlands almost lost to GFU at home and Linfield was up 50 to 0 at half against GFU....Based on that, I would like Linfield by 48 over Redlands.

They will be playing each other soon enough. Looking forward to it.

Dog...the SCIAC has had 27 chances against Linfield and are 1 and 26.  All bark...no bite.
