Being new to watching SCIAC and D3 football, it has been an adjustment from the recent years of watching Oklahoma (as a life-long fan/supporter/alumnus/season ticket holder). Having a son now playing for CMS, their games have reminded me a lot of watching Army when they were in Norman earlier this year - very focused on a time consuming offense. They were able to do so against Redlands in the 4th quarter when it looked like the RU defense was just worn out. I am not sure if the CMS defense can have continued success against Chapman this week or not, but I do think it will be much more difficult against a stronger and more consistent passing attack. I think for CMS to win, they will need to control the clock and keep the Chapman offense on the sideline as much as possible.

Thanks! Interested to see how the OU defense holds up against Texas Tech this weekend. Could be very enlightening, one way or another.

Territory...so, you can tell there's more Okies on the boards?  ;D

Pomona beat Oxy 33-0. The Sagehens led 33-0 at halftime, and then mercifully ran out the clock.

There's no game recap of the game on Oxy's web site. We'll see if they post one. Oxy didn't post a recap after they lost 62-0 to Chapman on October 13. I guess if you never say what really happened then it didn't really happen, right?

For me it's nice to see Mudd take care of business.

Congrats to CMS on making the playoffs!
Indeed---I was just looking at stats and CMS is pretty much middle of the SCIAC in nearly every category with the exception of one very important one, PPG allowed where they are #1.  I guess defense really does win Championships!   ;D
Go Cats!

Congrats to CMS on their title win, and the fact that this has been eluding them for many years, I would think that last night and today just seem to be a little brighter, I would also imagine it is an exciting time for them looking forward to the playoff reveals.

Terrible situation in Thousand Oaks, a place I called home for over eight years.  Borderline hosts college night on Wednesdays and gets students from all of the local colleges.  Hate seeing this stuff anywhere, but hate it even more when it happens in a place you called home and love so much.

Heartbreaking, brought tears to my eyes, loosing a child is something that one should never face as a parent and to the brave officer that entered the bar to save others making the ultimate sacrifice. I thank you and your family for allowing him to serve the public. I pray for all families and friends they can heal and move forward.
