Fun bit of news here- I'm moving to the Claremont area just in time for the 2019 season. Looking forward to the opportunity to see the SCIAC in person this fall!

Claremont is a great town to live in.

wally,
You won't find SCIAC attendance at 4000 per game as at Wabash. :(

Looks like Garces Memorial HS in Bakersfield is a better job than Occidental.  Sad times in Tigerville.

Here is the replacement.  https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-herbes-2ba01172

Bringing in a kid with 1 whole year of coaching experience (maybe not even 1 season) to be the OC?  Looks like Oxy is ready to light up the scoreboard this year....

Less than two more years of Gavin.

The Panthers start camp today. Looking forward to watching some Panther Football in 2019!

D O.C.

Looking forward to Chapman being a good neighbor and sharing it's field with the 4 local Orange high schools who have no stadium to play in this season.

Rumors on twitter are that Redlands is getting a gigantic new scoreboard.  That would be huge for the Bulldogs and recruiting!

Where did they play before?  New to O.C. and hoping to get out to a few Chapman games this year.

Jack, El Modena High Stadium in Orange is going thru a renovations, so the four high schools in the Orange Unified SD (Orange, Villa Park, Canyon, El Modena) are out of sorts, playing wherever they can this year.

Yes Redlands has an ongoing major fund raiser and the scoreboard is one of the first items on the list. There athletic center for lack of a better word is outdated from the 90's...So they are going to add a second floor to the one they got plus expand the footprint. New coaches office, meeting rooms, more locker room, expanding the one to two areas they lift etc...in short to keep up with the times.

Also a good way to get a few bucks and show off the school for football and regular student recruits.
