Here's a good story: In 2009 Oxy beat UR 27-24 in overtime (Oxy's 6th straight win over UR). After the game I went down on the field to greet the players and coaches. I went up to Selway, who was standing with his dad. After congratulating Selway for a well-played game, I was berated by him and his dad about lousy calls by the refs (part of an Oxy conspiracy, of course), and the bad lighting (a Patterson Field staple). After enduring 30 seconds or so of their assault, I beat a hasty retreat.

I remember that game. Redlands was winning 24-10 at the half. Thought the streak was going to be broken, but it wasn't meant to be. Then Cal Lu went on their winning streak from 2010-2014. Frustrating years for Redlands with many second place finishes. ULV and Chapman have won titles since as well, so good things happening in the conference for parity.

ULV only won the title because their stud RB could not get into UR....o/w....the kid was very upset he could not get in

Interesting you say that as the last SCIAC team to do it you labeled "snowflakes" and "cupcakes".

Also, they won multiple games, so maybe we should root for Oxy to get back to the winning circle.

I have much respect for what Dave did in the past, teams were nails... but I don't live in it...

When Oxy student body/admin show some respect for this country I will root for them again.

I'm hoping for Oxy despite the ridiculousness AD action years ago, I hope they can right the program despite the obstacles.

Just messing with you man. I see Redlands brought in a transfer QB (walk on) from Arizona State. I was impressed with his HS highlights.
