Another dominant win for Redlands. I think Puget Sound is better than they showed tonight, but sometimes you're on the end of a beat down. Big one next week against Linfield.

We shall see. Last year Redlands defense did their part, but the offense was non existent. This years team has better overall talent on both sides of the ball. Linfield is a juggernaut though, so Redlands will need an A+ effort in all phases to win. Hopefully we are treated to a great game.

On the same page RFB, first two games don't mean a lot if we lay an egg this Saturday. This O line looks to be as good as I have seen in the last 10 years, the real test will happen this week. I am sure LF will spy our QB (hum some old guy before the season said he would be tough) and their team speed on defense will be much better than the past two games. Good better be ready to run some counters. I think it comes down to if LF can get it done just bringing four man rush.

I have not seen LF play, but it looks like our active 300# NG went down and never came back in, I know LF in the past loves to run the ball and the key has been to make them go side to side, if not they will run between the tackles with just a better O line, they love to set their O off the running game.
Again UR sits in a 3-3-5, inverts have to tackle well to eliminate the home run plays.

Going to be fun.

LA Times sports letters to the editor included one that said UCLA never should have left the SCIAC so that they could still play CLU, PP, and LV.  It wasn't written by OxyBob.

Going to be a fun week with Scheduling alliance kicking in between the SCIAC and NWC, we have Chapman versus WW...we will know about Chapman for sure. A lot of yacking by old guys for sure.

DO.C. laughs at that one.

Sad, I remember when there were good teams along the 134/210 & meeting up with OxyBob at games was fun.

Oh well, I don't expect him to drive from Ventura County to Redlands just to see my team play.

I am not going to travel to Redlands, but I think there are enough Redlands and Linfield posters who will describe and analyze the game in such exquisite and excruciating detail that it'll be like I was there.

It's supposed to be 92 in Redlands on Saturday, so for Linfield's sake hopefully by 7:00 p.m. it'll be down to 85. Advantage UR.
