Not in the slightest. No interest at all in St. John's or the MIAC.

Just got back in town, had to get out of the CA, it was nice to see less homeless and pay almost two bucks less for fuel. I was able to watch UR/LV on the stream. Man what can you say about LV, their talent has fallen very far. I do not know what is going on with the recruiting but even the skills have declined, they could not remotely match up. They are one small notch above Oxy and Whittier. There is no reason LV does not get athletes, given the admissions standards and pretty liberal aid they offer. I did notice the President did not make a football video this year, so that is one slight win.

The sports guys here in Dallas were talking about the Big 12 this morning.  Their topic applies to SCIAC and even NWC.

The question was :  Is it better to have one big dog with the potential to win a national championship or to have parity?

Neither.    Any conference that has 2 or 3 really good teams makes better playoff runs, excluding Mount Union.  Look at the WIAC and MIAC.

In the 80s and 90s, PLU and Linfield won many NAIA championships.   And we all knew whoever won their annual conference battle would be a tough out in the playoffs.

Linfield needs a really consistent, tough in-conference team or two.

No time for parties my man. Up early and kicking ass while you're nursing your hangover.

Parity

I agree RFB ...Right now at UR feel they can get past the Regals (but the ball is not round so you never know) and I can not confirm our QB is playing although our back up looked good , then it is like a bye weeks (Oxy and WC)  I doubt it we get in, even after reading D3 Football FAQ on the playoffs.

Cal Lu is a rivalry game, and it's always tough to play in Thousand Oaks. However, I believe Redlands defense is too strong and should be the difference. Hopefully, N. Martinez is not too dinged up to go, but agree E. Krump looks good in limited play. Need to keep the foot on the gas the next three weeks.

Cal Lu was closed today due to the Fires, wonder what the Regals did for practice? good thing Rams have a bye

Hadn't thought about that - any games threatened by fires?

Ya'll be safe out there! :)

Do you think they will move the game to Redlands?

Not really. Fires all around Redlands as well.
Maybe another school can be used as a neutral (safe) site.
