Not really. Fires all around Redlands as well.
Maybe another school can be used as a neutral (safe) site.

A few years ago, when UR had fires in the vicinity the game was moved to La Quinta High......Maynard will play anywhere

Hopefully the air quality improves.  Can't be good for the kids to be playing with all the stuff in the air...

I'm sure they will be....the air is much better today than it has been.   Was out in it earlier this week and it was not great at all.

The game could be moved to Oxy. The field is in great shape because football has been barely played there for the past 4 years.

D3.Com/Pat is projecting UR Losers to be ranked #5 Regionally when the Regional poll comes out.  The top four teams all auto qualifiers, and Wartburg with two tough games coming up too...I have not paid attention to the wild card talk through out the years, so does this mean UR has a chance to be the west WC team? as I read the FAQ.

That is how we would project it at the moment. UW-Platteville and Bethel are still the best other candidates.

Yes, basically--though they don't take a Pool C from each region necessarily.  What they do is take whoever is at the top of each region's list and compare them (based on the criteria) and choose the "best" of the 4.  Then they move the next team up (from to replace the team just selected) and do the process again until all 5 spots are filled.

So--if the Regional Rankings are as projected, Redlands would be at the top of the West Region list and would be compared to the top teams from each of the other 3 regions.  Assuming they don't do anything to screw it up, Redlands has a very good chance of getting a Pool C spot.

if you pop onto the "Pool C Board" in the coming weeks Wally Wabash and those guys will do some simulations of Pool C selection based on the regional rankings---it's a great way to understand how the process works.

I live in Ventura and we had some soot and ash from the Maria Fire fire in Santa Paula. Nothing like the Thomas Fire two years ago, thankfully.

The UR-CLU game is on for now.  The Maria Fire is about 15 miles northwest of Thousand Oaks. Right now clear skies and good air quality, so they should be good to go.

D O.C.

From what little I could see on my phone, it appeared Redlands played as aggressive against the solutes as they did LINFIELD.

Rivalry game. Seven wins in a row for the good guys against those evil doers.

Take a away one play and the Regals run game was effective at LF. UR does have lapses, hope in the next two scrimmages Maynard focus is execution. UR will need it if we get lucky and get in. I really hate playing Whittier and Oxy...I wont even bother to go or watch.
