Driving toward Arroyo Seco from the Glendale Fwy one can see the ages of white bird droppings all over the Eagle Rock BECAUSE the birds do sit there and scout around.

Good enough . . . gotta respect a man for taking his lumps with good humor!

As for the bleachers . . . yup . . . back in my day it was wooden bleachers on the west side (facing east) with all fans on one side . . . the good news is that you can't get butt splinters from cement.  Also of note, the new row of aluminum benches at the top added this past summer.

Space limitations and attendance just don't justify bleachers on both sides.  A new swim stadium will be going in on the west side starting (hopefully) sometime next year.

  Don't forget the recently "renovated" press box which will not hold the TIGER DEN A comfortable space where VIP can sit.  This means Eye, Oswald , and myself will me sitting in there with our feet up!  j/k ... we will be on the sidelines nice and drunk.  Hope to see everyone in Eagle Rock Ssaturday night and don't worry about your cars we have an ex oxy football player that could make grades is now working as a campus safety officer

Tom Brady..whatever ur refering to im not sure..but anyways im not some fool whos gonna make outrageous picks and comments that have no value..i know my football and what i say i strongly believe..to ur comment on the past CalLu vs Redlands game...last years game we were just better plain and simple..the year before it was a toss up and the outcome showed..it could have gone either way..But maybe Callu has passed the Dawgs..Go Kinsgmen

Eventhough i know that i am going to hear crap from some of you about this soon, but, when all is said and done Collins and Co. all have a great game. Big numbers on the ground attack and through the air produce 52 points and the stellar defense keeps the "pios" to a low 14 points. Although, the cupcake team seems like no match for Oxy, in the end we will at least have learned that a young O-line for the tigers has matured and will be ready for teams such as Cal Lu, the dawgs, the hens, the staggs, etc.

Btw-----Tom, scandii and smitty, when the kingsmen play redlands i hope that this game will determine who gets second place between both schools. I don't see either team taking Oxy down, but at least they will have a shot a getting into the playoffs.
