tooth....it is your specualtion...or is it hallucination???? ;)

Dont blame me for his craziness.  Im just anxiously awaiting the BIG GAME.  I personally think that the dawgs defense will lock the gate to the pound.  I am thinking one word all week......UPSET.......and Im not talking about my stomach!

GO DAWGS......Play with the same intensity you did last week, minus the turnovers, and pull out a BIG WIN.

D O.C.

As tough as LINFIELD has been on OXY and Redlands I'm hoping someone will throw me a nacho as I peruse the tailgating Saturday wearing the WILDCAT logo.

I'm taking a long 1:10 hour flight from Nor CAl to So cal for the CLU-Whittier game to watch the Kingsmen go 4-0 on the season. How's the weather for Sat. night in Whittier?

Nicely done, OxyBob!

I hope your predictions are dead on!

oxybob, Thanks for the update and the poem.

Oh, I get it now, CLU is playing the Poets. Stupid me.

Sorry guys, I played at Lewis & Clark and was a Business major.

Go Dawgs

EastCoastStag

wow. ONU is good. But Mount- pretty unreal. Pretty safe to say that bracket in the playoffs is going through Alliance, OH.

Now, Bob.
Why does everyone hate Whittier? Granted, I find trash talking when you are losing to be embarassing... and they sure seem to run their mouths alot. But, I just feel bad for Whittier- average school with below average sports playing in terrible facilities. It is unfortunate, but it appears they are going to be the dog of the conference for a while. I guess every conference needs a dog. For the sake of the SCIAC, let us hope it doesn't get to the level of the Oberlin 44 game losing streak.
Whittier v. the Mount Union Defense/Special Teams. Final Score: 45-0

Bob,
I was referring to just their football. But by all means let CalTech Basketball pull a win against Whittier. I can't really put a finger on what basketball teams I don't like, but Whitter is a fine team to lose to CalTech. Although, that Redlands "offensive strategy"??? I wouldn't mind seeing that fail miserably agains Tech. Maybe that is what the football team needs? I think so. They should just run 5 wide and throw streaks all day long.

Back to gazing at pictures of Jenn Sterger until kickoff.

thought of the day:
I can't wait to hear Notre Dame fans in about three weeks talking about how good their team is and how Brady Quinn is a God. $hit, even Whittier could smoke Stanford. Bottom line- ND overrated and overhyped. Most anoying fans in the nation-ND.

EastCoastStag

It really is their holier than thou attitude that get me. I know people who work for the program in recruiting and other opperations- the players there pull the same $h*t there that players at the U and other upstanding institutions pull, from girls to drugs to parties to academics. The school and alums will never let it see the light of day, lest it tarnish their reputation as little angels.
I'll take my school purchased/ and sanctioned alcohol any day of the week.

I have friends who went to Pomona, Claremont and Redlands. We have passionate rooting interests in our schools, and our political views are divergent, but there's one thing on which we agree: We all hate Whittier!

OxyBob
It looks like you need a pacifist Quaker friend to make your group complete. ;)

Less than two minutes into the game, Oxy goes up 7-0 over Redlands on a pass by Collins to Winchell.

Anyone watching the board that's paying attention or cares?
