Thank-you two for clarifying things.

RFB-are you ever going to be able to see a game this year?

coco- hold the fort without me tonight as I just got entered into a slot tournament and have to leave!

I have planned on making a few games so far, hasn't happened for a few reasons. Hopefully I will make homecoming this week and I will definitely be there for Whittier and Cal Lu.

Browneagle64

thats poor sportsmanship by the hens.

Oxy 49- Leo's 19. Great job to oxy in keeping the high  passing attack low for the leo's

As soon as sunday rolls, Next team to face will be the hens.

As much as the youngster at Oxy get presurred to the annual Homecoming celebrations, i hope that they stay focued, come out with intensity and continue to get better. I am sure that they will be studying any mistakes they made against the Leo's.

Up next: Oxy getting better to roll over the hens

D. O. C.

We've got you covered, and will eat and drink your share at the tailgate.

Congrats to our SCIAC brothers who came out on top today, like Oxy, and especially to Matt Wabby for his fine start at Redlands. The announcers had good words about him, too.

Do my eyes deceive me or did CMS just beat Cal Lu in double OT!!

Looking at the standings it has the Stag/Cal Lu result.

Quite the upset and good for future discussion.

Yup, tough loss for the Kingsmen.  Sounds like they shot themselves in the foot at a few key junctures and the Stags did what they needed to in order to keep it close.  Tough to lose one like that - but at least CLU still has the chance to win out and give themselves a good shot at a playoff berth.

Congrats to the Stags on a good win - and as ECS probably already knows, for keeping themselves in contention for the conference lead!  ;)

EastCoastStag

Thank you Scan.

Feels good. CLU didn't shoot themselves in the foot more than CMS. Simply got out played. More big plays by CMS. Still, they have a shot. Who knows where the Stags go from here. Big test next week against UoR. Hope Wabby is ready.

Now, time to savor the moment:

Claremont over CLU in double OT . . . HOLY COW :o :o :o :o

It's clear that the sole SCIAC team in the playoffs will be the champion.

Congrats to the Stags . . . how in the heck did that happen?

Wow, great job by CMS. That is a huge win for them. Should be a good game next week at the Runner. I lost the feed in the third quarter of the Redlands game. Did Chris Saras get pulled to give his knee some rest since it was a blowout or did he get hurt?

To Dawg fans

I just heard from a very good source why PP may refuse to shake hands.

Did the Dawgs kick on onside kick after being up by over 30 and after just scoring a TD?  If true, I would say the classless title belongs to the Dawgs.

Not calling you classless now, but interested if the onside kick is true.

Browneagle64

If true, both actions are poor. What a way to teach kids.

Congrats to the stags. What a shocker out in the land of the Who. I am sure the stags fill good as a spoiler. This just proves that anything can happen on any given saturday.

Redlands has struggled for half the season on offense. I don't blame them for trying to get more offensive possesions even if they did onside kick. I doubt that Coach Maynard ordered an onside kick up by 30 points though. Sounds like Pomona was just a little pissed off at getting stuffed all day on offense.

RFB;

Learning to work your offense is important, however, class is important as well.  From your post I take it you were not at the game.

However I am sure DGI was, especially with his post.

So I am interested in what DGI has to say.

Congrats on the win, hope the onside kick issue does not cloud it.

No, I wasn't at the game. Coach Maynard runs a clean program that is all class. Listening to the game I know that Redlands onside kicked with under a minute left in the first half after they scored. The score at that time was 26-7. I see no problem in trying to get the ball back and get a quick score before the half came to an end.
