GHC writes to OB:  "Been to both places and you have it ass backwards.  Mac is like a frickin resort compared to Spokane."

I too have been to both (just in passing, but at least "through" both) . . . and GHC speaks the truth, I'll take anywhere on the Oregon coast over Spokane . . . now if we were talking Walla Walla, it might be different, but Whitman gave up football a while back.   :D ;D

cheers,

GHC.............PLEASE

Take that video or the Oxy guy getting tackled off your post.................I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Oxy! ;) :D

Browneagle64

DGI, FYI......That's not an Oxy player. Probabily a Rat or a pup. The Uni on the player getting tackled looks to  sophisticated for the simple black and white.

Btw, Your pups lose by a close one to ECS stags... Be ready for your 1st heart breaking homecoming loss at the U of RED. ;D
"Statistics are used much like a drunk uses a lamppost: for support, not illumination."--Vin Scully

"I don't really care," he said with an impish smile. "It's all about the Dodgers. I don't think anyone really watches hockey anymore.".....Tiger Woods

brownegle.......maybe yes, maybe no........we shall see....how many point you want to give me for how much? :D  Now you made a predition.....now you need to be a man of conviction.  :D :D   Just let me know .....any amount is fine by me. ;)  ;D

In any event, I am looking forward to a great game, and cant wait to see the tenacious defense of the dawgs de-horn the Staggs......and the new and improved offense filet some venison.!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

ECS.........hope to see you there.

Pat, I'm feeling the need for a new board:  the  "SCIAC Board that only discusses things that 509-Rat is in interested in so that he doesn't have to read the other crap that interests people on this board."

As for the McMinnville putdowns, having been there the last two years for two Oxy thrashings, I thoroughly enjoyed all but about three hours of each trip.

dawg:

Please note my monumental indifference to the outcome of the Redlands-CMS game. Notches in Oxy's gun. Anyway, I'm still looking for a bookie willing to take a bet on Ohio State to beat Indiana by a "ton."

Also, congratulations to your good friend Jeff "Soupan" and the Cardinals for making it past the Mets and into the World Series. I checked Beckett's, and that rookie card you had signed by Suppan at the Crespi Baseball Father-Son Pancake Breakfast shot up in value from $0.78 to $0.93, so put it away in a safe place!

OxyBob

Hey Google Boy . . . a quick google of "jeff suppan rookie card" reveals prices ranging from 10 cents to 10 bucks (+ 3.00 shipping) . . .  ;D

They don't call it "Spo-compton" for nothin'!!!   ;D

"Only three games into the series, the Occidental-Pomona rivalry became so contentious that a forfeit was necessitated. According to an account of the 1901 game from the Pomona archives, Occidental players, already incensed over an injury to right halfback Dean Cromwell, refused to continue the game when officials disallowed a newfangled ploy called ... the lateral."

Cromwell is a big name in Southern California sports.

SCIAC officials haven't changed over the years. ???
I wonder what the Pomona PA announcer said about that through his megaphone. :P

Which SCIAC fans could not get anyone to take their shift as librarian today and have to follow your team on-line...and can keep us updated?
