Bob-

I was surprised you weren't more taken by the movie poster exhibit and Nancy's outfit for her gridiron club appearance  ;)

Rock-
If you go, skip most of the exhibits and check out the plane - they did a great job with that part.

+K to Bob for the solid breakfast recommendations, are you a closet Thousand Oaks-o-phile? :D

Harold's has the best omelette's and pancakes ....anywhere....Bob.....was that you there last Sunday with black and orange running shoes, black Nike jogging suit with orange stripes and a orange head band on?   ;)

SCIAC gets one team in.  No chance for two.  There is no way Cal Lu beats Oxy and a two loss SCIAC team won't have enough quality wins to get in.

Browneagle64

I'm glad you clawed your way back in here Rockcat. ;D

I've been trying to mention to all on this board about Cal Lu not beating Oxy on saturday, but I think i would rather hear everyones Hopes on beating a Top #10 Football team. Makes saturdays win much more better.

I didn't even know CMS had a varsity football team until Cal Lu lost to them.  If Claremont can put up 30 on CLU than Oxy will but up 50.  It will be a blowout just like last year.

Eagle,

I had to reprioritize once classes got rollin' this fall.  Haven't even made it to a single D3 game yet this year.  I'm hopeful a NWC team will be in SoCal in about a month.

Gee, Rockcat-

In the face of that argument, should they even play tomorrow? :o

tigersports

One man's prediction:

Oxy 41, Cal Lu 31.  Oxy's probably a little bit better in all phases.

Tigersports....and here is thought all the Oxy guys were liberals....you are obviously not! :D ;)

Good luck to both the Tigers and Kingsmen on Sat....should be a good game.  I will be at LV hoping and wishing for something good to happen. ;)

Tigersports is actually a Bruin,  so for football, Oxy's all I got.

Great Pumpkin:

Thanks for the rankings. However, Rossi has the SCIAC slightly wrong...

Key:
* = Conference Leader
X = Team That Couls (sic) Still Win Its Conference

SCIAC
---------
*   Occidental   10.667   SCIAC   6-0, 6-0
X   Cal Lutheran   8.167   SCIAC   5-1, 5-1
X   Redlands   7.000   SCIAC   2-4, 2-4

Bids Likely – 1 or 2 (Too Close to Call)

To be accurate, Redlands cannot win the conference. The best the Bulldogs can do is tie Oxy if the Tigers lose a game. Redlands will not get a playoff bid. Not even close.

OxyBob

I heard a rumor I was being dissed over here :-)  Naw, I appreciate the observation.  Yet, I think we have to still give Redlands that "outside chance" to win the SCIAC because Oxy COULD lose two games.  Likely?  No.  It'll obviously be reassessed after this weekend's big game.  The "1 or 2" issue isn't really a Redlands issue as much as it's a Cal. Luth. issue, should Cal. Luth. run the table and Oxy run the table minus Cal. Luth.  That obviously will be more decided this weekend as well.  I tried not to eliminate teams based on "X team can't win, even though they're mathematically alive" issues.  Yet, in cases like Rochester in the LL, in which about eight things have to happen for Rochester to win the league, I felt comfortable eliminating them from confusing the Pools. So, no disrespect to Oxy or the SCIAC...I just wanted to be comprehensive.
