Redlands was up 24-6 with 4:28 left in the fourth and almost gave it away. Well the defense steps up again to save the day again. Good to get the win though.

What ever mistakes are going on, i hope Oxy find the intensity and urgency in their guts from getting punched in the mouth during the first half. Lets go tigers......

Just confirmed by the Redlands announcers. Cal Lu attempted a 57 yard field goal with one second left and was just short. Wow, must have been a great game. Too bad that Cal Lu couldn't finish. Congrats to Oxy on the big win.

Yeah that was the score all right. Great job to both clubs for what turned to be a great game.

Wha ever the masterminds at Oxy brewed up for Oxy at Half needs to be given a huge hats off. Not only that, The staff and kids at Cal Lu also need to be commended for doing a great job.

Holy Cow!  I was able to finish my plans early and headed to Cal Lu for the game.  Got ther right at kickoff and was ready to see a great game......this game did not dissapoint.
Big props for Collins as he had a hell of a second half and a lot of credit for the OXY staff for figuring it all out.  Its a shame one of these teams had to lose and I must say Cal Lu got out-coached in the 2nd half.  Great game all around and I would love to see the stats from this one.  Congrats OXY on the big win, Cal Lu needs to keep their head up.

Bob- Would have been nice to meet you but I didnt think I was going to make it.  I am interested to hear what you have to say about the game.

OB pretty much covered it . . . what a barnburner this one turned out to be.  Cal Lu is an excellent team.  I have no idea what happened out at Claremont, but for that misstep, they'd be in the hunt for a pool C bid right now, and I think that they deserve it.  Sadly, I doubt the NCAA gives a rip about what I think.

Props to the Kingsmen for an excellent game that could have gone either way.

Props to the Tigers and their coaching staff for coming back from being down 21-0 and 24-7 . . . showed determination and character.

Met DOC and saw OxyBob for the first time since the mid 70's.  Enjoyed a spicy polish dog at half despite the stomach churning state of affairs at that point.

And what a kicker for Cal Lu . . . a little tail wind and the outcome would have been different. 

It was a fun afternoon, the last time that I was at Cal Lu was when I was geared up and playing (back in the days of leather helmets and the single wing . . . that's for you Browneagle . . .  )

The dawgs played a pretty good game but for the last 6 mins.......a turnover and subsequent score put the Leo's back in the game. The offense looked pretty good , throwing several deep balls for completions.  

Pity the poor Poets......cant wait for the CLU game......once again going to try to bring the motorhome and do the big tailgate  thing....depends on the schedule of my youngest...all you CLU posters should come over for an icy cold....beverage.   Obviously the dawg fans are also welcome.  I will let ya all know.
